How much do you think it would cost to rent a moving van to move from California to Colorado?

Around what amount of money, or has anyone ever done this before?

4. I moved from Michigan to North Carolina using the biggest Penske truck ,16 or 17ft. and it cost $1100.00 -$1200.00 plus gas and that was about 700 miles, they let us use the truck for 5 days. You just return the truck to the nearest Penske company. It would cost much more to have a moving company do it, they told us $5000.00 yikes! I guess it would depend on the size truck you'd need, some charge extra for mileage. You also have to inspect the truck yourself so they don't charge you for damages, and you have to refill the gas tank to where it was when you rented it because they over charge you for it if they have to do it.
