Can potential employers search all jobs that I previously worked at?

I am applying for a job and there is 1 job that I do not wish to list on my application. Are there ways for employers to search my name and find out all the places that I have previously worked at?

  1. 1) You could try omitting the job altogether. 2) You could instead list a bogus job with a fictitious employer that has gone out of business. Be careful that you're not asked to provide your tax returns to verify income and employment. 3) You could say you were self-employed as a way of "concealing" a bad job.
