Why sometimes GOOD candidates are not selected for Jobs?

1. well as i m a student i can just make a guess n may b coz they r not smart n lack of confidence
2. Sometimes people get a job because of "who they know", not "what they know". It's just the way life is sometimes. Persistence is key to getting what you want in life.
3. Because for every good candidate, there is a better candidate.
4. better work hard and prepare for the next interview... in current times you have to appear for many interview for getting a job... more for freshers...
5. because better candidates are selected.If you fall into that situation,that probably means you aren't lucky,or maybe you need to try more
6. good question but there is lots of reasons may.......... sometimes they dont like praticular jobs............. sometimes luck should come in they way........... sometimes others may occur foults in them........... sometimes parents can not except them.............. sometimes girl friend may disturb.................. sometimes he/she may be in mind disturb with any reason............etc i think so
