What should i do stay in california or move to colorado?

I have an opportunitynity to move to colorado. I have been looking for a job in C.A. for almost 2 yrs and nothing. My mothers friend has a businessness that is falling behind so he went to colorado and in just 1week found a job. Plus his sons that had no experience also found jobs in a week. I dont know what to do I have tried finding a job (700 applications total and still counting) but nothing. WHAT DO I DO?
