Who decided a CV is called a Curriculum Vitae and not just Employment History and Made up Interests?
Curriculum Vitae = Course of Life

- latin just sounds cooler.......
- It's a fairly modern phrase, despite being Latin, it was first used in 1902, so no where near Roman times. Actual it's called New Latin. Curriculum means course, from currere which is "to race" a chariot. Vitae comes from vita which means life. My guess would be it was first used by the universities, which would explain why the Latin, it sounds clever.
- Made up interests? More like made up everything! Did you see how Lee lied on his CV and I still managed to make him my new apprentice? GORDON BENNETT! WOT WAS I THINKING?
