Umm..off topic, but..does anyone know where the arbor vitae is located in the cerebellum of a sheep brain?
it's for my anatomy lab practical. I can't find a good model or image on google either. tee jay...I think I love you! Thanks! I've been trying to find ONE site that has it in dorsal, saggitial, and top view (that's not the medical term for it, but I forgot what "top view" means..it's late) but anyway..THANKS!

- hmmm... arbor vitae is a plant,
- I'm sorry, but this is hilarious. I know you're trying to do homework, but this wins some kind of honorable mention for being one of the most esoteric questions I've seen so far, AND, with correct spelling and punctuation. Again, I salute you. =P
- Take a look. They will show you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiAbrQLTyYw It's number 8 on this chart....lovely. http://web.baypath.edu/biology/sheep%20brain/brain-sheep.html Edit: Now calm down my friend it really wasn't all that difficult to find these gruesome images :) Note also that "arbor" derives from anglo-french and means a shelter of vines or branches or of latticework covered with climbing shrubs or vines . Now look again at that intriguing arbor vitae....does it not resemble a bunch of leaf-less branches...? End of lesson. :)
- I thought an arbor vitae is a member of the cedar family. Mine is in the back yard next to the fence and growing quite nicely though. Sorry I can't help you, Riley Dearest. I think I'm in Gardening not anatomy.
