  1. A C.V. is just a resume. Contact the admissions office and ask if they have guidelines outlining what they are looking for in the C.V.
  2. No, a 'resume' is a short summary of your life's work, usually one page in length. A c.v. is a complete listing of all of your accomplishments. To do a complete c.v., start out with the standard personal i.d. stuff and list of degrees and diplomas. Then list every job you ever held that's somewhat relevant to your career, then all of your publications, conference papers, grants, honors, and memberships. Do not worry about length; a c.v. is unlimited. However, don't pad it with a lot of irrelevant stuff--if you're looking for work as a microbiologist, nobody cares if you play piano. It's a good idea to keep your c.v. up-to-date, inserting new accomplishments immediately.
