I need a job working the night shift, any good tips for doing an online job search for 3rd shift?
All of the online search sights like Monster or Career Builder don't seem to let me filter out what shift or hours I need. Does anybody have any good ideas on how or where I should search to just find night shift jobs in my area instead of coming through pages of jobs I can't work.

- get the sunday newspaper or a jobsweekly type read.

- I don't know of any sites that are strictly for third shift positions though I do think http:/snagajob.com has a filter for the shift. I would suggest that when you are doing a search in the search engines that you should check the option to search in the text of the ad as well as the job title. You should also do separate searches for the terms "3rd", "Third" and also for "shift" since the assumption is that most jobs are 1st shift and the only times it would be used is to indicate a variation from the norm.
