what is the right period to search for job in Dublin, Ireland?

A friend of mine is going for internship search to Dublin from France, in October. Is this a good period in IT job search?

1. Anytime is good but generally Christmas and Summer are slow.... Yahoo's EU headquarters are in Dublin and they're always looking for CS & Editorial staff...they have contract positions at the moment, she should check out their jobs page.
2. There are loads of jobs advertised on various websites all year around....I would think your friend should start looking now for a job in October!
