What is the salary range in Washington State?

I have been applying for jobs and the descriptions state a salary of "range 9." I have been searching the net but have not found any info to to different salary ranges. Does anyone know where I can find current info on salary ranges, preferably in Washington State? Just dont submit the range, I need the actual sources. No places like salary.com give a general or "statistical" overview of salary. I was looking for actual descriptions or definitions.
