what kind of jobs can get with an associates in business admin?
I'm currently in my sophmore year finishing up my associates in business administration, and I was wondering what kind of jobs would I be able to get? I have been doing alot of job searches on the web, to get ideas on job requirements and salaries. I have found several (administrative, insurance, management, entry level accounting/book-keeping, and a few others). I was just wondering if anyone had any more details or specific jobs that would hire. I am probably going to further my education afterwards (i haven't decided on a particular concentration yet, but im leaning towards accounting or management). If anyone could give me some ideas it would be great! ! Thanks!

- Unfortunately for you, there are a million other people with buisness degrees as well, with an associates your options are limited, many buisness want at least a 4 year degree before they will consider you. Good luck though!

- I have my AAS in Business Administration. One advantage is that you are well educated in several areas and you are correct, you can obtain jobs in those areas. Also, if you land an entry level position and as you gain experience, it will give you the opportunity to advance within the company. I started out in the accounting department-A/P then worked my way through other areas including A/R and payroll. Now, I am a fiscal manager. It took me a few years to get here, but it was well worth it!!! I oversee the accounting and payroll departments. One place worth trying is working for your State. Check out the web site for your State. They have all kinds of job postings there. You could also check our you local government-like your tax office and local manufacturing companies. You could work in the finance department or possibly a supervisor or floor mananger. Also, don't just check out the salaries, you would be wise to check out the benefits the companies offers-and if they also help pay for further education. Some will help pay even if you are getting financial aide!! You are wise to check out the types of jobs-sorry I can't get very specific about other jobs. You mentioned most of the ones that I know of. And salaries vary from job to job and the city and state you live in. The main thing, is to focus on finding a job that involves the area that you like best in school Best of luck to you..
