How easy is it to find a job as an EMT-B?

paid or volunteer. I live in a small metropolis, Portland, Maine. I just need 6 months experience before I can get into the paramedicine associates degree program. I am taking the EMT class next semester hopefully.

1. A high turnover rate and a growing need for more medically trained professionals keeps EMTs in demand. Many people who initially work as EMTs move on to careers such as nurse or firefighter so there are a lot of others leaving the positions that got in for the same reason you need to, experience to go into paramedic school or other.
