My husband and I are thinking about moving to coastal maine?

He has a decent-sounding job offer, but we don't know much about the cost of things like rent or just the cost of living in general, does anyone have any serious input?

1. Maine has a long coastline. What part of Maine? I like all parts of Maine, but for different reasons.
2. Go to http://maine.craigslist.org/ and find places to rent where you are going. That will give you an idea of the cost of renting. To pack go to walmart at 7:15 am and get the boxes they are getting rid of so you don't have to pay for boxes. Get packing paper cheap at U-Haul.
