How did you find your job?

I have over 15 years of very successful Sales/Sales Management/Executive Management experience and need to start looking. I am currently working and don’t want my employer to know I am looking. My thoughts are to blast my resume to some of the big companies in my area, that kind of thing. I don’t have much confidence in Monster or the newspaper. I have to be careful how many people I tell I am looking in my circle because; it will get back to my employer. So back to my question, how did you find your job, any ideas for me?

1. I found mine on Craigslist and it is the best job I have ever had to be honest.................... Have you tried a headhunter...............................
2. I went in and asked if they were hiring. you could print up copies of your resume and drop them off at places you think you'd like to work. just ask them not to contact your current employer.
