What are some of the highest paying jobs?

Now im asking this and im serious about it and id not want to hear "CEO of a company" but i want to know the general field of studies and the specific jobs that come with it. Im in highschool and i want to select a pathway. I hear doctor/dentist and chemical engineers have the highest salaries ... what do chemical engineers do anyways??? where would i be working?

2. I don't know exactly what a chemincal engineer does, but becoming a pediatric dentist or even an orthodontist is very highly profitable. To become either you would have to get a BS, then go to dental school for 4 yrs., then 2 more years for whatever specialty you choose (pediatric, etc.). It sounds like a long haul, but it's worth it. There is a definite shortage of pedi.. dentists and, unlike doctors, you work for yourself and not an insurance company or hospital!! Go for it!!! Good luck.
