I just recently was selected for a interview with a local city job. Is it a good idea to wear a suit?

I have worn a suit before in the past, is it a good idea or not. Should I dress more casually, and if a suit is a good idea, what color or type should I wear?

1. Wearing a suit is always a good idea. It conveys a sense of professionalism. You should aim to dress at least one level up from the job you're applying for, maxing out at wearing a suit. Black is always a good color choice. it's a conservative choice and is all about powah.

3. Like they always say, dress for the job that you want! :) It is always a good idea to wear a suit to portray professionalism. A solid color is best, usually black or navy and remember to wear a conservative tie..... a red tie is always a great idea because it conveys power! Good luck with your interview! P.S. Remember to go light on the cologne and jewelry! :)
