How does physical appearance of a guy/girl affects to be selected for the job?

i mean whether a guy looks affects or play any role in getting some job. like if he is tall and good looking. and also if he is waering 3 piece suit and same for teh girl..if she is beautiful...attractive, then chances of getting job is high, is that true? specially in canada or usa?..personal experience r encourage

1. Well, recent studies show that thinner/prettier/handsomer people usually get the job. And depending on the industry, age discrimination plays into it also. Three-piece suits are pretty much out for job interviews unless you're applying for an attorney in a prestigious law firm.

3. Having a pleasant personality is a plus point in applying for a job, couple with good credentials and experiences, there will be a great chance of getting hired.
4. Yep. They discriminate like every other aspect of society - based on race, weight, attractiveness, this is very true. He'll get caught one day, I assure you.
5. I would not hire a grossly overweight person for my company.

Regardless of your physical attributes of weight, height, eye color,hair color etc, if you are clean and well-groomed with not overwhelming perfume or soap odor (forget the Irish Spring!) and have the required education and experience, then the only thing you need is to know how to create rapport with the interviewer.
