1. It varys greatly depending on what you are looking for. Work history, pay scale, industry, travel, they are all factors. The way the economy is currently, there hasn't been a lot of options. Most jobs available right now are either heavy labor, with okay pay, or temporary work with minimum wage. To answer your question, it takes everywhere from one day to over a month.
