How to add a free online tutorial on a resume as a gap filler.? Whats the proper way of writing the details on a resume under education for example, free online tutorials like for web coding from the website www.w3schools.com, and if its possible to use it on my resume. This website does provide certificates also, but I dnt have one. My resume format is chronological I have a 5 month gab so need to show that I was going something educational.
Where can I look online at an example of a resume for free? I need to update my resume, but don't want to pay someone to do it. I just want to look at some examples and then I can update it myself.
Where can I find a good resume maker or resume example online? There's a lot of bs resume builder sites. I want to find a good one that is FREE.
How do you properly find out if a store/resturant is hiring? How does a resume look like? What is included? If anyone could find any free online ways to make a resume ort an example of one that would be greatly appreciated!!!
What are some good examples of creating a resume? What do you put into a professional resume? My husband has sold cars for 30 years but wants to change careers. He would like to go into sales, but not necessarily selling cars. He's had experience with owning a few businesses including a car dealership. He's been an excellent salesman. So many online examples require a fee and give sketchy examples if they are free, as how to do this. Thanks for your help, examples and feedback!
How do I organise clips for an online journalism application? I'm applying for a job as a writer for a magazine, and the advertisement asks that I send my cover letter, resume and examples of my work to the email address provided. Some of my clips were published in print only - I suppose that's easy, I'll just scan them onto my computer and attach them to the email. A few of the others appeared online. Is there a standard way of presenting links to these? Should I put them in the body of the email, or do I need to put them in a separate document? Also, do I need to provide a description for each one, or would the recruitment manager only be interested in the clips themselves? Finally, I've been thinking it's time to compile an online portfolio. I've found a couple of sites telling me what works and what doesn't but very few tell me exactly how I should go about setting up the website itself. Should I do it from scratch, and if so, how? Or can you recommend a good FREE portfolio website? This is the first time I've applied for a job like this, so I need help!
Convince me to play World of Warcraft :P? This is not a stupid or troll question .. this is my Online Resume : - lvl 106 Dragon Archer in Conquer - lvl 86 Mage in Eudemons - lvl 42 Wizard/Bard in Silkroad - lvl 39 Assassin and 36 Priest in Dragonica (Dragon Saga) - lvl 32 (dnt remember) Runescape (very long time ago) - lvl 2X Archer (i think) tales of pirates - lvl 11 Nocturne / Master Yi Player in League Of Legends - lvl 8 (out of 20) Paladin Dungeons and Dragons Online + a couple of others i cant remember .... The thing is , I'm fed up with all of these Free to play games in which you can get waaaaaay stronger just by paying some money for example in Eudemons ... (which unlike conquer doenst require a minimum level to use the cash shop) i remember you could buy an Exp ball for like . 6 Eps or sth (which is waaaaay too cheap considering 25$ gets you about 500eps) and this exp ball can get a lvl 1 character to lvl 16 ... in one second ,, and you can use 10 of them a day !!! (excuse me if the nimbers arent quite right , i stopped playing Eudemons 2 yrs ago) .. So i though ... since i already pay 60$ for a ps3 game that on average (excluding Oblivion and such games) keeps me entertained for 4 days max. since im a hardcore gamer , whats the harm in paying that same amount for a subscription to WoW which will supposedly keep me entertained for the entire subscription time ?? But i have a few questions : 1- Do i pay an amount when starting , as if buying the game , or do i just subscribe and pay for the months and start playing ?? 2- Is it possible to access the same account from 2 diff PCs (at the same time) , this is not to cheat or anything but i have a brother and i though we could split the subscription fees if each of us created a diff. caracter on the same account.

Is this a work at home scam? This is the email I received from an email application I sent in response to a Craigslist (yes, Craigslist) posting for a data entry clerk. Is it this bad that I can't find a job (2011)? [I miss working at Martin Brower and Valspar] I been laid off since October of 2010 and I knew it was coming because the same issue happen to a previous warehouse I worked at, Martin Brower(2005). Last year I worked for Valspar a Plant/DC site that lost the Walmart account. So that means a decrease in the work load and less money for the company. When I first I heard that we were losing the account during the meeting it was a flashback for me all over again when I was worked for Martin Brower it a similar situation because they lost the Quiznos account so that's how I knew. Some of the employees had no clue because they never been laid before and some had very few warehouse experience. It took about a month before the company announce what was really going to happen during the process of losing the Walmart account and everyone had their own ideas of what was going to happen but I knew differently someone was gettin' laid off and majority of times they go by seniority. It just tough looking for work right now. It's tough in general for me, just life period. I just have to say something because I am tired of being beat down when I'm trying my best to make my life better, shit happens. Growing up was a shit hole for me and still is... Can't I just find a decent job that will help me pay my bills and help me save for my future? I can't even go to school because that requires money, Money, Money, Money. Right now I am living in a low-income studio and my only income is my unemployment benefit and that won't even last. I just want to go to work and go to school part time like I did in the previous years. Is there anyone else who is the same boat as me? I been looking and drive around. I even applied at probably 6-7 different counties in the bay area and in the valley of California. The worst part is I live in Stockton, California now, I mean I had to move back here again after the lay off. Stockton is all bad, I lived here for about 20+ years so I know what I am talking about when it comes to employment in this corrupt city. I tried various website, you name it, I applied and registered. Sometimes what I do is drive around and write on a piece of paper the name company that I can find and come back home and apply online and at time I do go to the front clerk and ask for application and majority of times they would they have an online application on their website. Or I would google for example "warehouse distribution center, California" and list of companies would pop up and I would apply and send a resume to all of them. I would look through out Sacramento County, San Joaquin County, Bay Area Counties just looking for any jobs that I feel that I qualify. I made account with Careerbuilder.com, Indeed, Caljobs.ca.gov, etc.. It goes on. The main thing I see most are jobs that require a certificate or degree. I have none so it is going to be a challenge for me. Other than just warehouse jobs, I do look for other types of jobs like: production worker, material handler, truck driver assistant, merchandiser, store associates, etc. Please feel free to give some pointers and feel free to tell your side of the story if you are going through the same thing. Thank you and bless those who are struggling not just looking for work but struggling with life. Note that I do apply in person and call at times. It is the same thing " currently we are still review other applicants" I also get a courtesy notice if I send something online.
Should I move out & leave my mother and little brother & pursue my own happiness, or should I Stay & help them? I decided to come to the US to study shortly after my mother and younger brother came along. It's been difficult but we have managed to make it through. Now, I have graduated from college and I have a stable Job that allows me to support myself. The following facts about my mother DO NOT make me happy: 1. She interferes with my individuality and is very critical. 2. She is very stubborn and she seems incapable of understanding the situations surrounding my life and often times assumes things without facts and tries to impose her ideas or course of action to situations of my life. 3, She has surrendered. She is an engineer back in my country and here she is acting like she doesn't even know how to make a resume and wants me to do it for her. She hasn't gotten a good job. And it is not because of lack of English because she was studying med. assistant and had the highest grades and she became an American Citizen all on her own, but she doesn't seem to apply the same energy into other things. 4. She is a bad decision maker. Before making a decision anybody with a conscience would do a little research or analyse. She's constantly making decisions that affect all of us without making any sort of research. For example, she provoked her lay off from work because she "heard" that Obama made unemployment assistance to be 100% of the paycheck. Logically speaking, I would research to see if its true at least. It's not true so now she is getting less than $100 a week and feels sad about her decision. Another example is that she is an engineer in my country from a University accepted here so she could have take her transcript and take a couple of classes and validate her career or have a degree in something else in 1-2 yrs. and if she does at a city school it would be free. Well what she did was take the GED (wasting time), then go for Med. Assistant which she left half way because it was making too much debt which she realized half way through not toward the beginning, So now she also has school debt and no degree. Now there are also things that bother me about my brother: 1. He is 19 and he knows the situation is bad and he is not doing anything to help. He was put on school probation and he wasn't even working. Now he is going part time to school and working so little hours that the money he makes its basically for his expenses. But since he has a lot of free time and I assign him things to do like make a phone call to find out about a charge on a bill, etc. Or to send envelopes for applications for apartments. Well, he doesn't do them. I'm exhausted and feel without help. Yet he has more than enough time to spend the whole night until 5 AM on most weekdays playing World of the Warcraft. So I also wonder how might school be going for him? So basically I am 25 years old, working full time, Now since my mother doesn't have a job now I have no money for myself. I pay all the bills and she would take care of the food ONLY. Now that is on me too. She doesn't seem to be doing much as far as getting a job. I keep telling to apply online and she is not even doing that. Also, 3 people in a one bedroom apartment is ridiculous there is no privacy whatsoever and my mother even violates the little privacy left by opening my mail and going through my stuff. She also annoys me not allowing me to take care of my own problems in the way I think its best (hey, at least I research and think about things for a little). She wants to give me solutions and criticizes me for not following her advise and mentions it even when the problem has already been solved. She needs to let me be an adult, let me be my own person. I spoke to her and told her I want to move out, she says its understandable but to give her time because she has made some bad investments and needs to accumulate some money to buy an apartment in my country. How much time? 2-3 Years!!! I'm really unhappy, should I leave them and have them deal with the situation so they can react or should I help them? HELP

If you are interested in meeting with me, I can be contacted through email or by phone. 63*-68*-60** I hope to be hearing from you Thanks, Mike on the old one craigslist.org would be highlighted like a link and i thought it looked bad so i fixed it. i also took out the exact date just because it looked funny and i dont think it does much good. also took out that time frame cuz i honestly am free all the time. so i just said "if youd like to contact me call/email" basically just cleaned if up a bit. good? bad? ok? would you contact me back? Thank you for taking the time to read my long question and thank you for your answers. your opinions matter!!
What happens if you stop tending to a matured Bonsai tree and transplant it outdoors? If you transplant a fully-matured Bonsai tree into the earth, will it become a regular tree? Assume that it will survive the transplantation and becomes established enough to survive without constant attention, watering, feeding, etc. Also assume that all pestilences, fires, animal damage, lawnmowers, children with magnifying glasses, lightning bolts, peons from Warcraft, droughts, diseases, meteors, farm runoff, bombs, Godzilla, too much shade, too little shade, miniature cookie elves, floods, asian beetles, supernovae, whittlers, anything from the Matrix, plagues and loggers avoid this little bugger altogether, and it never encounters anything for the rest of its life that would be considered a danger to its health. Assume lastly that every season passes without any abnormalities and every day is a day that is absolutely perfect for growing trees; the soil is perfect, the rainfall is perfect, the breeze is perfect, the carbon dioxide level is perfect and old ladies from the local flower arranging club come out every other day to talk to it in an encouraging manner ... everything is perfect. There is no need to comment on any potential incidentals that could prevent the tree from remaining alive, thereby eliminating all possibility that the tree will grow normally. At least be funny if you do it intentionally. If you do it accidentally or because you are illiterate, and this question was read to you by someone who is only semi-literate, who you also dictated your answer to, prepare yourself for a ruthless verbal thrashing. Anyway, once the constant careful pruning and shaping that has stunted the tree's growth (or expansion, anyway) all its life is stopped, will normal growth characteristics return? Could a 24" tall, 50 year-old giant redwood Bonsai tree theoretically grow to be an actual giant redwood over the hundreds of years to follow if freed from the shackles that once imprisoned it, or will the tree never recover from the life of careful manipulation it endured before it was released into the wild? I'm actually interested to learn the correct answer to this, but haven't found a forum yet online where this has already been discussed. I expect that the Bonsai process is merely a temporary restriction of the natural growth habits written in the tree DNA. Once that restriction is lifted, reason tells me that normal growth patterns will resume, if the tree survives transplantation and acclimation into its new environment. If anyone has an example (minus the utopian plant paradise part) of a successful transplantation of this nature, I'd like to know what the findings were. Did the tree regain its shape? Did leaf sizes return to normal? How long did it take for each stage? How long was it before the tree was no longer recognizable as the Bonsai tree it once was? If you have any other anecdotes or interesting observations, I'd really like to hear them. I actually edited this. It was a lot longer. Thanks for sticking with me long enough to get to the end.
