What is working life at RIM (Research in Motion) like? I am currently going through the recruitment process for an HR position with RIM that would be based out of Mississauga but require 1-2 times a week travel to Waterloo. Work-life balance is important to me at this point in my life. Can anyone speak to what it's like to work for RIM and what work-life balance is like there? Thanks so much!
How can I contact a person at Research in Motion / Blackberry? I have a RIM product that is problematic and want to send my complaint to RIM. However I cannot find any email address or phone number for them that would allow me to contact a human. Please don't suggest anything that will send me an automated response (like help@rim.com). Also my cellphone carrier cannot help me so please don't suggest that either. Thanks for your help
perpetual motion research? Hi, I have to write a ten page research paper on perpetual motion for my science fair project and Im kinda running out of topics. I was wondering if you could be kind enough as to provide me with topics to discuss and present in my paper. My experiment is about perpetual motion. I've already talked about inventors and electricity and magnets and the laws of physics. thankyou.
Seeking Blackberry Research In Motion Employment? I'm interested in pursuing an entry level career with the Blackberry RIM company, possibly as a traveling rep, or even a position in which I would function within the company's operations. I do know that they are headquartered in Irving, Texas, but cannot seem to find any information regarding H.R. contact, or any other contact number. Any information whatsoever regarding the pursuit of occupation within this company would be much appreciated>
Does RIM (Research In Motion) still suport BlackBerry Storm 9500? Is the Blackberry Storm 9500 still supported by RIM? I want to upgrade the 4.7 software but am not finding the downloadable program. Only seeing 9530, & 9550. Wht is the upgrading procedure?. Am asking this because many times (but not ALL times) the touch screen gets stuck and wont respond to my commands. Like when i select a name on my Contacts list, it doesnt select the name i want. It sticks to some names only. I then have to rotrate it in landscape then try again.. with some luck it agrees. The same applies to editing texts. I cant freely go to previous text lines to edit. You only text forward. When it was new it was EXCELLENT in all these respects. The battery is ok since i tried another battery, same problem. Someone said i shd wipe memory. I did ..to no avail. Another said i should have it completely formated then reinstall the operatring system. That costs alot here. But is this the answer? Why did this happen in the first place? I don want to repeat. Is it because of a virus or corruption due to downloads? Please.
How do I apply for a RIM (Research in Motion) replacement? I have a Blackberry Pearl which I recently have broken. I dropped it and the screen now only shows a dark blue, checkered/lined screen. The phone itself is still working because it vibrates when I get emails/texts and I can still make calls (although I can't see to who). I was wondering how I would go about filing for a RIM (Research in Motion) replacement based on their one (1) year warranty. Yes, I have had the phone for less than a year (somewhere around five months). This event occurred today. Thanks for any help!
Do the recent struggles of Nokia and Research in Motion illustrate the need for government economic planning? Nokia and Research in Motion are both makers of cellphones and/or so-called smart phones. Both have fallen out of favor since the devices they manufacture are no longer the preferred devices that free people making choices want for their particular needs. A couple of days ago RIM announced bad earnings and layoffs, earnings are down as customers move away from Blackberrys and on to other devices like Androids and I-Phones. Are the difficulties of the above two companies an example of a structural issue that demands government intervention, or simply part of the creative destruction of capitalism that creates continuous improvement?
How can you tell a value trade from a value trap (e.g. Research in Motion)? For example, look at Research in Motion. Its stock is down almost 20% over the past month, despite that its earnings are rapidly increasing quarter over quarter, and so is its equity. Its P/E ratio is staggeringly low at less than 7. What on earth am I missing here? Thanks Thanks a lot, I'll give you the best answer for sure, but there's just one thing that's not making sense to me in the midst of this and that's RIM's increasing earnings. Sure, they seem to be having difficulties here, but apparently they're expanding rapidly overseas. Could you comment on that please? You seem to really know your stuff. I mean you say the numbers don't matter, but in the end, why would RIM's stock price be decreasing if it's becoming more and more profitable and its equity is increasing (mind you I don't see how that's happening, as I know all of the issues you named are true and should be undermining earnings)?
A few questions about RIM (Research in Motion) Please help (easy 10 points)? What is the history of RIM (does it have a story?) When was it first built (the headquarters) How many other locations is RIM located in? Is RIM a partnership, sole proprietorship or corporation? Is RIM traded in the stock market? How many phones/tablets does RIM produce every year? Please answer what you know :)
Is "Research in Motion" Dead? Pristine balance sheet. P:E ratio under 4. P : B <1, Still doing well outside the US. 70 million subscribers (up 40 %). Share price in the dump !! Why?
Was that $100 + Million deal Obama gave Research in Motion today, Pay for Play or good old fashioned cronyism? Braqi's lift of the Electronic ban on Cuba that gives Blackberry total access is worth Billions. Plus Obama made it possible for US Citizens to Pay Cuban's phone bills and Broad Band fees. That's mighty white of him. This is almost as good as Bill Clinton's Telecom Give away. I'm guessing this deal will give Obama Billion$ in Electronic Play in the 2012 election Hey nonofyob: It's a question, sure it's a compound sentence but it clearly ends with a ? mark. Do you have a tiny screene and can't see the ? mark. I don't know what proof I can give you to make you see that it is a question. Hey Michel S: This is the political section, not the Rainbow's and Kittens These are a few of my favorite things, section. YA would violate non pol;itical Q&A's if they were posted here.
Research in Motions firms operation overview? i need a good website to do an essay on an overview of the firms operations.... Research in motions is the company that deals with blackberry. can anybody help me find a good site or info? Thanks!
Should we go to Mars, do whatever research and put in motion its evolution into a human habitable planet? 'Cause sooner, or later, humanity will completely fuck up the Earth... Beth, sounds like you have faith in humanity at all... After all you're part of it. Wars, or no wars, earth's resources are vanishing and not just due to our internal conflicts. Sooner, or later there will have to be some unity in order face some imminent problem. I somewhat see all the problems now and before as a learning process, sort of like a process of growing up, and hopefully those lesson will be applied to Mars and beyond if we ever get there.
What will be the trend of the RIM stock fort the next week? Hello. I am currently investing in Canadian stocks and I am particularly interested in Research in Motion. In your opinion, is this stock going to increase or decrease during the next week. It is very important to me! Thanks a lot to all of you!
Can someone tell me if something is a microeconomic or a macroeconomic issue? Can someone tell me whether each of the following are a microeconomic or macroeconomic issue and explain why? (a) The recent increase in the price of housing in Victoria. (b) Job Cuts in Research and Motion company. (c) High levels of child poverty in Canada. (d) The rapid increase in the value of the Canadian dollar for much of this year. I think the first two are microeconomic and the second two are macroeconomic but I want to know for sure.
How do you find the market capitalization on any given day? For my finance project, I am asked to find the market capitalization for Research in Motion as of October 31st,2010. Is there a site that provides this figure? So far, I've only been able to find the stock price on October 31st, 2010 on Yahoo! Finance. And I could only find the market capitalization figure for today on Yahoo! Finance --> http://ca.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=RIM.TO Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Is The Stock Market Going To Crash Again This Year? I'm a share holder in google, Apple, Sony, and research in motion. In the last week i've experience serious losses in all stocks but Apple. The Dow S&P and Nasdaq have been giving me drastic drops within the last two days, all within 12 to 4 o'clock. I know this is because of the massive sell of due to drop in home sales. Tell me if why and when you think the market is going to crash. thanks.
What are some good domestic stocks for 2009? I am looking for some domestic stocks (that are not blue chip stocks) that might perform well in 09' or 10'. What do you guys think? Here am some im looking at: -JAVA (sun microsystems) -NVDA (nvidia corp.) -RIMM (research in motion ltd.) -DNA (genentech) -SPY -AZO (autozone inc.) also, please tell me why you chose those stocks. Thanks
How can I get BlackBerry enterprise server (BES) experience? I want to move to Canada and work for Research in Motion in their phone technical support division, but most of their jobs say they require that you have hands on experience with a BES... so where in the world do I get that?!? The only way to do that that I know of is to be a BES administrator! I already provide phone tech support for BlackBerrys for a wireless provider in America but I still can't get my hands on a BES.
How would you invest $1,000,000 in order to make the most money in one year? I'm working on a school project, and I'm looking for good ways to invest money. For the assignment, we are hypothetically given $1,000,000 and only one year to make a profit from it. There are a few rules... -We cannot invest it all in one place. -We can't just place it all in the bank to collect interest. -No investing in anything illegal (I know I know..no fun :p) I'd also like to get your opinion on some ideas I already have, and I need help elaborating on some that I don't know much about. I'm definitely thinking of buying a bunch of different stocks, such as Disney, Research in Motion, Target, Google, and a few others. I'm also probably going to purchase a CD. Any tips on either stocks or CDs? Remember I only have one year to collect any profit from my investments. Also, everything doesn't have to be real (i.e. how much a certain stock went up), but it DOES have to be realistic and based on influential information. Oh & I just heard about T-Bills, can anyone explain? Thanks! Creative answers are acceptable too...one of my friends said they invested in a mining project that produced tons of precious metals and earned him millions. Also, when I said "realistic and influential information" I meant that there just has to be proof that what we say happened could in fact happen. For example, if I say the price of the Disney stock went up a certain amount, I would just have to back that up. So I could say they released a new cruise ship that really brought attention and rave reviews to their cruise line or something like that. Thanks again :) oops...I don't think I was as clear as I could have been on the time limit we have. We are given a year as the maximum amount of time to hypothetically invest the money, but we only have a few days to write the paper and hand in the assignment. That's where the made up part comes in... we don't really have a year to keep track of stocks and all that good stuff. lol sorry...I was running out of character space. Everything so far is really great though...I'm just going to play off of that.
Which of these stocks/etfs is the better buy? MasterCard (MA) Apple (AAPL) Panera Bread (PNRA) PowerShares Dynamic Oil Services (PXJ) Research In Motion (RIMM) Wal-Mart (WMT) Costco (COST) Visa (V) I'm planning on buying one of those stocks/etfs listed above. I would appreciate any addvice with an explanation as to why you're bullish or bearish. I'm looking for a short term investment that I can cash in on around 3 months - 1 year.
How do you feel about RIM? Do any of you own RIM (research in motion, aka blackberry) shares? And would you recommend it? I have quite a bit of shares but I am still undecided on whether or not I should hang onto it.
what is the difference between these blackberries? Research in Motion BlackBerry 8830® Smartphone ..and... Research in Motion BlackBerry 8703e™ Wireless Handheld Why are they called "research in motion?" and do they both have cameras/ability to download ringtones. last question.. why do people prefer blackberries? Are they more for buisness type of people, or just for anybody looking for a good phone
Why did the Catholic Church condemn science even if they knew it was the truth? Take Galileo's trial for example. Many scientists had proved the heliocentric theory through their research of planetary motion AND had the mathematical evidence to support it. Yet the Roman Catholic church refused to accept the truth. I understand it went against church authority, whatever, but the evidence was right in front of their face! And seriously? It took them 360 years to acknowledge that Galileo was indeed correct (and Copernicus as well). It makes me so mad. And I wish Galileo hadn't signed the confession, just to spite the stupid church.
installation of blackberry system software? just got a blackberry curve and trying to install the system software but it keep saying "Error 1305. Error from reading file C:\Program files\Research in motion\Blackberry\Device_Switch.dll. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it" Any help?
What was Blackberry's impact? Hey guys, i just wanted to know what type of impact the Blackberry invention by Research in Motion on society? Thanks
I need to get sponsureship to carry-on with my research into perpetual motion.? I have managed to get my original perpetual motion device to turn by itself for one year at 3000rpm. Because it was consructed with cardboard and double-sided tape, it fell apart. The new prototype should turn at around 300 000 rpm. but because I have self funded it till now, I have run out of capital. If there is anyone out there who willbe able to assist me, I would be most thankfull.
I need a research question involving linear motion and rotatory motion.? The research question has to be sort of unique, with not much like info from the textbook and not very simple but has to be staright forward. IT has to be very specific. OR you can suggest any other simple research question involving surface tension (please dont tell tempereatuire and ST) or it can also involve pendulums.
What are the impacts on society from research with transdermal infusion? One method of taking medicine is known as transdermal infusion. As the name implies, medicine is absorbed into the body through the skin, after being placed in a package fastened to the body like a bandage. Medicines to prevent motion sickness and to treat some coronary conditions are sometimes given in this way. Identify and explore some of the applications of transdermal infusion and the research that made this technique possible. Write a two page report that evaluates the impact this research has had on society. I need information for a report for Science Class.
what is relative and absolute motion? I tried to research online, but I still don't understand what relative and absolute motion is. Please reply with easy terms and words and give an example if you can. Thanks.
Why are there no perpetual motion machines? Is there no research close to resolving this problem. I recall that the late Professor Eric Laithwaite was working with gyro motion and had demonstrated a prototype. He was the big mover on maglev in the early days.
Motion for release of evidence in Indiana? Where can I find a sample of a "motion for release of evidence". Ex. If a defendant is arrested on a drug possession charge, and has a couple hundred dollars on them. He or she (or lawyer) would have to file a "motion for release of evidence" in order for the defendant to get their money back. Would anyone know how to prepare a motion like that, or better yet maybe a case in in the Indiana Trial courts so i can get a sample for my research.
What did the Brownian movement or motion prove to the science world? I'm doing some research on Einstein and I'm not understanding what the Brownian movement is and what was so significant about it. I've been online for two hours now and I'm not doing to good so can someone help me out here and try to put it in the simplest terms that you can..Thanks
How many minorities currently work in a creative profession such as motion design/ animation? Specificly African- Americans. If you have an answer by Gender (male or female) that would be helpful. Also how many minorities are in leadership roles in this industry? And if your are a Graphic designer/animator how many minorities are you aware of that work specificly as a Graphic Designers? Also a breakdown by race would be helpful such as African- Americans, Hispanic-Americans or Asian-Americans. I am doing research based on individuals within the creative industry. Please any information you give me would be helpful.
What are the ways used to describe motion? Here's my assignment this day. I hope you can help me answer this. The answers I found during my research is different from what I asked. Please try to answer this. Thanks. :D
Help with Perpetual Motion please? I'm doing a research about Perpetual Motion for my Physics coursework. I've only got a week now to do it and I don't know where to begin. I wanna prove that Perpetual Motion DOESN'T EXIST and try to explain it through the Laws of Thermodynamics but I don't know what to put and to what degree of detail do I need to talk about. (if u know what I mean) So could you help me how to start doing it? thanks! if u know any websites, books or other sources of info about perpetual motion, could u let me know please? I've already seen wikipedia but it's not enough for a 5000-odd words report. thanks again!!
Christians:Is it not evident that science is the research and discovery of what God has already set in motion? To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it (Deuteronomy 10:14). For God HIMSELF, said "The world is mine, and all that is in it" (Psalm 50:12). He even created man with the ability to comprehend elements of His creation. And through the abundance of His mercy and LOVE toward us, He gives us the choice to serve him OR reject His. We, brethren, serve a MIGHTY God! "As for ME and MY house, WE shall serve the LORD" Joshua 24:15 Char, It SURE is! Phat, Exactly! Armenian, Not my problem. Roxana, "We" serve a MIGHTY God. Problem, Thanks. fast, Then believe THAT. I choose to "RIGHTLY divide the Word of God." cool, He even let's YOU worship science. How cool is THAT! gee woman, It ALL belongs to God. Wear, Exactly! Thank you. Kyle, THANK YOU! YOU ARE A VERY WISE PERSON. May gGd continue to bless your life!

Why is motion and gravity important in baseball? (physics question)? Doing research for a project and I can't find any solid sources to help me answer this question. The only thing I could find is how the vibration of the ball hitting the ball effects the motion. And how air resistance is related to gravity's effects. Am I the right track? Thanks to all that help! ball hitting the bat* sorry!

were can i find research on magnetic fields and their ability to work to generate electricity? i've been working on a zero friction bearing for 10 years now and all but the math has been worked out including a prototype but i lack the education to effectivly descride what the bearing is doing mathmatically and have recently discovered that it miht be possable to generate electricity through a series of pullys and rotation speed of other magnetic fields .(can a magnetic field generate purpetual motion through rotation and alternating maneticfields?
Do the astronauts only do research or repair work inside there spaceship or they also..? or they also have to do some maneuvers to control the flight of there ship. I think that whole the space flight is controlled from the base station at NASA. The astronauts just keep sitting inside spaceship keeping there fingers crossed. Are there any sort of lever or switches inside their rockets which can direct their motion I mean as they do in the fiction movies?? please also add-up web links if possible. regards
rotary motion Vrs pumping action? A thought occurred to me in one of those mad moments. The human body is all set up and conditioned from an early age for a walking style that is more of a pumping action than a purely even rotary motion that we use on cycles.Has any research been done on alternative power input mechanisms on bicycles. By this I mean a more natural power input being mechanically translated to rotational energy Mr G , I'm no scientist but a rotary motion could not be more efficient because a linear motion is the natural state( ( unless acted upon by an external force) Newton and all that!) I would appreciate input from somebody who can really understand the question (however badly phrased) and give me some information rather than magazine dogma.
How do I clean my SLR lens without leaving streaks? After doing some research on how to clean an SLR lens, I found that the most common suggestion is to use hot breath and a microfiber cloth to clean the lens in a circular motion. This appeared to work at first. However, after careful inspection, very slight streaks were visible when the lens was viewed underneath sunlight or a bright halogen lamp. In other conditions, these streaks are not visible. The picture quality does not seem to be affected, but I can't help thinking that there has to be at least some picture degradation due to these streaks. Am I being a obsessive? Is there any way to remove these streaks? I just purchased this camera a week ago (a Nikon D40 with lens) and I want to keep it in pristine condition for as long as possible. I am thinking that the streaks are due to a dirty microfiber cloth. Would washing the cloth be a good idea? If so, what should I clean it with? What should I avoid cleaning it with?
How many of you will pay attention to City Council and local votes in November? I hate to admit it, but I usually pay attention to the federal, and to some extent the state legislative races, but not to the 'trivial' city council and board of supervisor races. This year I am going to take the time to research where people stand in the local races. From Maywood's prohibition of traffic tickets so's not to catch illegals, to Hazelton's strict anti-illegal immigrant laws, I have learned that the LOCAL politicians are very important. Cook County IL, (including Chicago) is about to vote on being a sanctuary city, and the proponants of that motion think it will pass easily. I used to live there, and I'm telling you, people relied on Daly and didn't pay much attention to anything else. Will you pay attention to local elections in voting, now? And has the illegal immigration issue made a difference to you in this?
Space research question? In a space research project two schemes of launchin a space probe out of the solar system are discussed: i) To lauch a probe with a velocity lare enough to escape from the solar system directly. ii)The probe is to approach one of the outer planets and with its help change its direction of motion and reach teh velocity necessary to escape from the solar system. Assume that the probe moves under the gravitational field of the sun only or the planets depending on whichever field is stronger at that point. Determine the minimum velocity and its direction relative to the earth's motion that should be given to the probe on launching according to the scheme i). [Data - velocity of earth round the sun is 30 km/s]
"business" projector versus home theater DLP projector for movies, games and an htpc? I am going to get a front end projector. I am nearly decided that I need a "home theater" projector as opposed to a standard "business" projector. At first, I dismissed the home theater ones because of their much lower lumens compared to their business counterparts. Of course, the business ones tend to be much cheaper though. These are the drawbacks of a business projector from what I have research o white spaces in color wheel to increase lumens makes it too bright o poor handling of motion in video o less inputs for multiple devices o generally not 16:9 native so you have to deal with gray bars o poor handling of black levels I wonder how real these issues or concerns are and if anyone uses a business one for their home theater. I will be using it with our dvd player, home theater pc and an nintendo Wii.
Study of Stop Motion Animation Appeal In The Era Of Digital Technology? FYI: Stop Motion Animation (e.g:THE HAUNTED HOTEL, JAN SVANKMAJER'S, etc... those are older stuff n more recent stuff will be: WALLACE AND GROMIT, CORPSE BRIDE, CHICKEN RUN,... ) Digital Technology means as in 3D animation e.g: all those PIXAR stuff (toy story, ratatouille, etc), SONY IMAGEWORKS' stuff (chubb chubbs, etc) I'm doing research on this topic, for my paper. Please, Would you share some thoughts, like if you think that it (Stop Motion Animation) HAS SOME CERTAIN APPEALS? (for example, some people like the jerkiness of it). Stop Motion Animation is an old stuff, has been used since long long time ago, and is the base of 3D animations, but it's now still quite popular, as you can see, Tim Burton's animations on cinemas. 3D animation is more advanced, and can be graphically amazing, whether it can be stylistic, or hyper realistic. Maybe you think that stop motion animation is not good stuff (i, myself prefer 3D to it) but can you share some thoughts, like why some people still like it, watching it, as my paper leans more towards stop motion.
What do you think of this UCAS application personal statement? Understanding cinema and television as the unbounded global media that it is has always intrigued me. Even after watching some of my favourite films I immediately purchase them in script form in an effort to understand why these motion pictures can captivate an entire group of spectators in cinemas and homes across the world. Gaining entry to the course would open up a whole new world of knowledge and information , however, the biggest aspect of the course for me would be the chance to work with and learn from experienced individuals who have worked in an industry in which I hope to one day participate. This Degree would undoubtedly give me the confidence and ability to succeed in this industry and also give me the tools needed to write creatively for film and television, either as an individual or as part of a team. Although I have no previous involvement in this subject and have been absent from full time education for over five years, I do exhibit good learning abilities. This can be shown by my HND in Electronics and in the completion of various training courses and ongoing appraisals I currently undergo, which have ensured I have remained in a learning environment which has taken me to the peak of possibilities available in the field in which I work. I have researched the subject I am applying for thoroughly through the prospectus and on-line information from the Faculty of Arts .Having worked in the west end of Glasgow, I am familiar with the area, the University and the bohemian atmosphere that it creates and have a desire to be involved in this lively area that pulses with a multicultural heartbeat. In my current profession, I work alone as part of a specialist team covering the latest products and also covering most of the central belt of Scotland. Working somewhat autonomously requires great self motivation and reliability which is coterminous with the trust in the individual shown by the management. At school I was involved in various extra curricular activities, but the one I am most proud of was the assisted reading program that endeavoured to help younger students with a learning difficulty by improving their reading on a one to one basis. Over the past few years however, the window for these types of activities has been closed mainly due to the fact that my father suffered a near fatal heart attack. Helping him through the first difficult year of recuperation and rehabilitation was the catalyst needed to prompt me to take advantage of company policy and apply for a years career break in which to travel and reassess some personal goals and ambitions. I am fairly active in any free time that I do have and enjoy various sports including playing football twice a week and cycling three times a week. When it gets to winter I enjoy snowboarding with friends over the weekend. Having done some research I am aware that the university has various clubs and associations and, if I am successful in gaining entry to the course, I will be actively looking to join a winter sports club. I love travelling which gives time to pursue my other hobby of photography. I have visited France a few times which has given me the opportunity to brush up on the little French I know, and once drove across the whole country. I have also visited Holland, Belgium, Greece, the Czech Republic and most recently on my career break spent a few months in Australia.
How to file a Motion to Compel? Yes, I've been here before for the same issue. However, I have received stellar replies and so I am back for yet another. DVRO bench trial- I had retained an attorney (paid a total of $6000 and still owe $3,770.62!) I was forced to fire my legal counsel because I simply had no money left. I am going into this, pro per. My former attorney had already served a Demand for Production. We received no reply, no communication whatsoever. I have since sent a 2nd request for discovery to no avail. I must now file a Motion to Compel. I have researched on the Internet but it is beyond my comprehension- a bit overwhelming. Help please? To Mega-Mom... BRILLIANT and most helpful reply! Still seems like a daunting task. My many thanks!!
What College is best for me, and what course? I'm going into College soon, and want to research Sharks as a Career. Unfortunatly I can't seem to find the information I'm looking for in order to set this career in motion. I'm wanting to have hands on training,& small class size & that won't cause me to go into debt. My goal in life is to swim with Sharks and research them and their Marine Life.

I am considering a career as a medical technologist. Can you give me the pros and cons of this profession? I have Bachelor's in Psychology and Business Admin. The jobs I've had so far have been low paying customer service type stuff. Though this could be because I live in Lakeland, FL. I was pre-med at UF and so I've taken classes in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology. I decided against med school since I don't like to deal with people and their problems, but I'm interested in medical research. But I want a job that allows me to have a fair amount of physical motion. Being a factory worker in an automobile manufacturing plant sounds good to me. In other words, I don't want to be in a cubicle and tied down to a phone all day. I don't want to work standard business hours due to my insomnia I have a hard time showing up to work at 8 am. The local hospital has different shifts available for medical technologist. I would have to go through a training program and get licensed. Can you tell me whether this is the right profession for me?

Radial Collateral Ligament injury -- Looking for a good source or forum to research and discuss this matter? About 6 weeks ago I had a partial tear of my Radial Collateral Ligament. I was told that this wasn't a big deal and put into a cast for 5 weeks without surgery. After getting the cast off and a week of physical therapy it turns out that my ligament is fine but my metacapophalangeal joint is frozen. There is no motion at all within it. Worse -- my surgeon has stopped his rhetoric about complete recovery and started attempting to set my expectations considerably lower. I still have many more weeks of therapy but a 1000% improvement on 0 range of motion is still 0. i.e. I'm losing faith in my surgeon and his team. I'm in my early 30's and sports such as golf and softball make up a big chunk of my social life. If he had told me this is what to expect I would've gone to another expert while the injury was still in the acute phase. I'm looking to change doctors but would like more data on this topic so I can more fully understand. Any good sites on this topic? Thanks!
