Stem Cell Research Knowledge Base
How many of you acually know what stem cell research really is? Hi i am a 10th grade student and I am doing a project to see how many of you really know what stem cell research is. I will be asking a few questions and i want to tell me what you know no doing any research or anything. This will be very helpful for me. Later tonight i will be postnig the answers to come back and see how you did. Thanks. A. What are human embryonic stem cells? B. From where do human embryonic stem cells originate? C. What is the difference between a blastocyst and a fetus? D. Where in the body is the blastocyst located? E. Do you know of other sources for stem cells? Elaborate F. What are advantages to using adult stem cells? G. What are the advantages to using adult stem cells? H. What are the disadvantages to using embryonic stem cells? I. What are the disadvantages to using adult stem cells? J. What are their possible uses in medicine? K. Do you feel that federal funding should be allocated toward human embryonic stem cell research? Why or Why not?
What is the government’s policy regarding the funding of stem cell research? A) All stem cell research can receive government funding. B) Only adult stem cell research can receive government funding. C) Only embryonic stem cell research can be funded. D) Only embryonic stem cell lines already established can be funded; other research using adult stem cells and cord blood or placental blood can be funded by the government.
Why is there such a strong opposition to stem cell research? I realize that people are against cloning just to retrieve stem cells, but how can they argue so vehemently about the subject when most do not even fully comprehend it? Stem cells are cells which are unspecialized. That is to say they can develop into any of the 220 different types of cells in your body. Embryonic stem cells can only be found within the first 10 days after fertilization and removing them means immediate death for the embryo. The other type of stem cells, called adult stem cells, exist in everyone, but can only differentiate into certain types of cells. That's right, everyone has stem cells in them, which, by using newly developed techniques, could be cultured to produce living tissue which could be replaced into the body. Stem cells and, obviously, stem cell research can only result in cures for diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and a ton of other of conditions. So why is everyone so against stem cell research when it can only do us good? As I mentioned earlier, stem cell development DOES NOT necessarily mean killing an embryo. Ok, please read the whole question and all details. STEM CELL RESEARCH DOES NOT NECESSARILY INVOLVE KILLING EMBRYOES! This is exactly what I mean; people are against something that they do not fully understand themselves!

What makes stem cell research such a controversial issue? I have to write an essay on the controversy surrounding stem cell research. I have so far done the opinions of religion and science and am now writing the conclusion, any tips would be good :) I have already done the essay, now i just need a sentence or 2 to explain why it is so controversial. Is it because the tax payers fund it regardless of their beliefs? I have already done the essay, now i just need a sentence or 2 to explain why it is so controversial. How is stem cell research important to the history of science? I have to write a thesis statement for my paper and have a little description of why this topic is important to the history of science. Here's the thing. I don't know much about stem cell research, could someone maybe suggest some websites or something that could help me. I don't know where to begin.
Stem cell research: Is it wrong to make clones of people to use them for spare parts? What if we could create duplicates of our own organs so our bodies wouldn’t reject them when our old organs die? Or what if we could make entire clones of ourselves to extend our own lives for as long as we wanted? Stem cell research can make all of these things possible but the problem is that many people consider it immoral. The idea that, even though it’s a clone, it’s still a living being. So what do we do?
What result could stem cell research have on the drug companies? Right now drug companies makes drugs to treat Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease and to resist the rejection of organ transplants, among other things. What if stem cell research resulted in treatment that would eliminate the need for these drugs, would drug companies try to stop stem cell research by turning it into an abortion issue?
Should stem cell research be legal and federally funded, and what about embryonic stem cell research? Their are 3 choices. A) All stem cell research should be legal and ferderally funded. B) Adult stem cell research should be legal and federally funded but not embryonic stem cell research. C) All stem cell research should be illegal and not federally funded. It's for a research paper that's due this Thursday. I think I know my opinion, I just wanna see what everyone else thinks. Please be detailed. Thanks!
What is the significants of embryonic stem cell research over adult stem cells research? I have been told that there is more potential in saving lives with adult (or other non-embryonic) stem cell research over embryonic stem cell research. I know about the whole genetic arguement (because getting ACS has the genetic code of the patient, the patient will accept it idea) so I know the advantages of ADC over ESC. What are the advantages of ESC over ASC?
What are the different views on stem cell research? I am doing research on stem cells, and I am supposed to find arguments for 3 different groups. On the paper these are the groups... 1. Government agency supporting the Bush plant's limited funding of stem cell research. 2. University research team opposed to the limits of the Bush plan. 3. Religious group opposed to any use of embryonic stem cells. So any help would be greatly appreciated! I would like for you to list your sources, or just lead me to a place where I can find information on this. Thanks!
How is stem cell research similar to abortion? In abortion you kill the fetus but what do they do in stem cell research - do they kill a fetus to. Roman Catholics believe that abortion is totally wrong, but that stopping the sperm before fertilisation is considered right. So anyway, what happens to the sperm in stem cell research and does stem cell research need sperm only or does it need it to be grown into a fetus?
How is stem cell research related to the 1st amendment? Im doing a project and have talk about which part of the 1st amendment stem cell research falls under. Also, what are conflicting views regarding stem cell research, and what are the current rights of citizens regarding the issue?
What are the cons of stem cell research? I have to do a debate in my class about stem cell research and somehow I ended up on the side against stem cell research. I am personally all for stem cell research and I can't seem to find any cons. Please no answers about how it's a sin or how we are "betraying god". Just straight forward scientific answers. Thanks.
How can stem cell research be debatable while abortion is legal ? With all the patriotic chest thumping these days how can Americans keep straight faces when stem cell research (life) is being challenged yet abortion (death) is legal . I think If there really is a God this would cause him to react . America is not the great country it claims to be .
How do we know stem cell research can lead to a cure for various diseases? I'm giving a speech on pro stem cell research. My classmates have replied to my claims saying there are no results of a cure, or evidence showing the potential of a cure, yet. I don't believe this is true, but I've found weak evidence proving otherwise so far. All I've found is scientists claiming this research may lead to a cure, which isn't very specific. If you know of any evidence or supportive claims that prove stem cell research may lead to a cure than it would be very appreciated it you would please share. Thanks!
How is stem cell research killing human beings if they're not even human yet? Stem cell research could have the huge possibility of curing some of the worlds worst diseases, saving millions of lives, and yet you loving Christians think it's wrong to try and save other peoples' lives just because you are killing a few cells? Cells die at an unimaginable rate. Most likely duotrigintillions and duotrigintillions per second!
What is your opinion about the stem cell research? Do you support abortion? I am having a debate and I would like to know what the other people think about this situation. Do you think that the stem cell research is pointless or should it continue? Do you believe that any of this will actually work? What are your opinions? I would also like to know if you support abortion. Do you think that there is a connection between abortion and the stem cell research?
What is the relation between stem cell research and Life extension? How does (or perhaps "would" would be the better term) stem cell research effectively extend human life? This is for an IB Theory of Knowledge class and if anyone has any sources or insight on the topic WITHOUT being openly biased based on the question asked I would be eternally grateful. This question does not contain moral or ethical components, but rather inquires on the science of stem cells and their relation to the topic of Life extension.
How does the lack of stem cell research affect insurance? I am curious to how insurance companies could benefit from stem cell research. With medical costs on the rise and insurance companies taking a financial toll because of it, i thought that the potential cures/good outcomes from stem cell therapy could help... Please no negative/demeaning comments and please find sources if possible i would like to read about some of it
What is your opinion on embryonic stem cell research? I believe that this research's potential for cures for outweighs the negative. Everyone says, "oh we shouldn't kill embryos and other methods work fine." First of all, many embryos are discarded today that could be used to find cures for various dieseases. Also, embryonic stem cells are the most malleable form of stem cells, so they are the easiest kind to work with and have more potential. I think the government should fund stem cell research. What do you think? The negatives are the ethics of it. Some people believe that using embryos for this purpose is wrong.
How can I donate my wisdom teeth to stem cell research? I am really interested in stem cell research and what it does and I may have my wisdom teeth pulled. To help, I want to donate my wisdom teeth which in Japan have been found to have stem cells. I've tried google and people have asked the same question but I can't figure out how to donate. Thanks!
What is wrong with embryonic stem cell research? I have type 1 diabetes and I think it's an important step in finding a cure. When they do this don't they put an unused egg and unused sperm together? The materials would go unused any way and even if it were to be used for a person they could still die in the womb. Abortion ends life and is legal while stem cells are only the potential for life. Even if the fetus was born they could end up with very poor quality of life, while with stem cell research can improve quality of life. So why do people oppose stem cell research so much?
What are some types of visual aids for a project about stem cell research? I had to write a research report about 4 pages long for class about stem cell research. We now have to present the report with a visual aid. What are some good ideas for a visual aid. Also what are some links for good pictures concerning stem cell research. The pictures can be pro-life OR pro- science. I want to cover BOTH sides of the issue.
How should I present my stem cell research presentation? I have to do a presentation on stem cell research. My partner and I were thinking of doing a powerpoint, but I don't know how to go about it. What would I include in my first slide? What kind of pictures should I have? Should we have any videos? Anything will help.
How can I get involved in stem cell research? I am a senior in college and am applying to medical school. I am very interested in stem cell research and I think it is going to become ever increasingly important in the future. How can I get involved with a team performing stem cell research?
What is a good hook sentence for a research paper supporting stem cell research? My research paper supports stem cell research, and this is my thesis statement: "Despite the negative media and controversial ethics, stem cell research is a good idea that could single-handedly hold the key to the future of medicine." I have the worst writer's block in the world and have been thinking about this for days. Please help!
What are the benefits of stem cell research? Why is stem cell research a beneficial way to treat diseases in humans? Please dont just give links but links can be added. If you have some sort of profession relating to science or mdeicine that is relevant please tell your profession Thanks!
How do you feel about stem cell research? Bush put a limit on funding stem cell research. Obama is going to open the doors and allow this -child development/ending life- to go full force. I fell sick! How do you feel about this?
Are you for or against stem cell research? For those uninformed, stem cell research is when they take the stem cells (stem cells are the unspecialized cells which can develop into any of the body's cells) from an embryo. I.E this can help a person w/ heart deffect; stem cells could be injected into the heart tissue, regenerating new cells. But researching stem cells can basically kill the embryo, because most of the cells would be removed. Are you for this? This can help save lives and could potentially be a cure for many diseases Or are you against this? Because of the embryos? I'm for it.
How can stem cell research help with congenital heart disease? Can research help children already born? My nephew was born with a hole in his heart and two defective valves. The hole was repaired with surgery. One valve was stretced to do the job. The other defective valve was left alone. The stretched valve will likely have to be replaced soon. And so will the unrepaired valve. The doctors think they will replace them with artificial valves or animal valves as he grows. With stem cell research are they thinking it may be possible to repair valves now or in the future?
What is morally wrong with stem cell research, and what exactly is it? From my limited knowledge of stem cell research, it seems as if all the cells that are used are already dead. What is so wrong with using something dead to help prevent and/or treat diseases and other illnesses in the future? Is donating your body to science wrong? Is donating your organs wrong? You are using a dead body to help other people. To me, stem cell research seems to be the same type of thing, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it to me. Actually, what I meant was that if stem cell research was what I thought it was, then it seemed to me that it was a lot like donating your body to Science or your organs to be transplanted. I knew there was nothing wrong with that; I was using them more hypothetically than anything. You know, I was using them as examples. But thanks anyway. :D Sorry if I confused you guys!
Why are people so concerned about embryonic stem cell research? I am doing a project for school on embryonic stem cell research and want to know why people are so concerned about it. I have been looking on the internet and yahoo answers, but the all just say it's about religious reasons. I want to know why religions and other people don't like embryonic stem cell research. Please simplify your answers if you can!
Where can I donate my eggs for stem cell research? I live in Atlanta. GA. I am 43 and perimenopausal. I would like to donate what eggs I have left that can be harvested for stem cell research. I have a friend with Multiple Sclerosis and I want to do anything I can to help find a cure. If you're against stem cell research, don't bother replying. You won't change my mind.
How do opponents of stem cell research justify in vitro fertilization? I'm really curious about this. I think this line of reasoning throws a wrench in the argument of stem cell research opponents. I'm really curious about this. I think this line of reasoning throws a wrench in the argument of stem cell research opponents. The majority of stem cells would come from left over embryos from couples who have had in vitro fertilization. Normally, these embryos are discarded. So instead being discarded, they're being used to help fight debilitating dieseases. What's wrong with that?
Why do proponents of stem cell research favor using federal funds for embryonic stem cell research? From what I understand, experiments using adult stem cells and placental stem cells haven proven very promising and, so far, embryonic stem cells haven't been successful at all, and have even been shown to be cancer causing. So how do embryonic stem cell proponents justify diverting money away from adult stem cell research to embryonic research? Good answer Common. I thought this may be the case. I disagree with it on a moral basis, but that's a different discussion.
Why the Double Standard Between Stem Cell Research and Faith Healing? Not that I agree or disagree with either side of the argument on stem cell research or faith healing, but why the double standard? The government has made stem cell research illegal because of religious views, and the science behind it can save lives. The government also prosecutes someone for murder when they use their religion to try to heal a sick person and they die. In one case religion trumps science and in the latter case science trumps religion. Whats the deal here, and why is this okay? Whats everyone's input? Does anyone else notice this double standard?
How should i make a commercial for stem cell research? Well for biology me and my friends have to make a commercial for stem cell research. Now we're usually pretty creative, but we cannot think of anything. We would like it to kind of be funny, but we don't know how to approach this subject at all. Any suggestions? Are teacher warned not to give our views on it, it just has to be a general comercial that gives information on the subject.
What are the pros and cons of stem cell research? I need to know what the pros and cons are of stem cell research. Please dont just copy and paste of the internet, cause all the sites say the same thing. Wondering if anyones got any different ideas?
What is your opinion on Stem cell research, particularly involving embryos? Im writing an essay on the topic of embryonic stem cell research, and need to know some different opinions that people have, and why, (particularly if its related to your religious views). Anything would be really great, even if its only a couple of words, but a short justicification would be helpful. Thanks so much!
What are the ethic issues behind stem cell research? I have to write an argumentative speech about stem cell research and I'm siding with performing the experiments. My argument is one life for 1000's. I know that killing the fetus is an issue, but is there anything other than that?
Why are those who oppose embryonic stem cell research not opposed to IVF clinics disposing of the embryos? For anyone who is a little educated on this issue we all know that the embryonic stem cells do not come from abortions They come from the surplus In Vitro Fertility treatments that otherwise are disposed of. So if people oppose using these embryos for research on ethical concerns (since I have heard no other reasons) why is it ok to dispose of them? Or are there other concerns I am not aware of? Or is it people hear stem cell research and just wrongly jump to conclude it is an abortion matter?
What are your views on stem cell research? Particulary embryonic. Do you support stem cell research or do you oppose it? Do you believe that morals and values are more/less important than scientific advancement, even if it does mean the embryo (blastocyst) is destroyed? All opinions welcome [: Please provide evidence/support if you are discussing specific research developments. Biologically, "life" begins at conception. do you agree with this? Should one stage of life be more valued than the other?
What do you think of the breakthrough in the stem cell research? 'Human skin cells have been reprogrammed by two groups of scientists to mimic embryonic stem cells with the potential to become any tissue in the body.' I think its fascinating that scientists can use human skin cells as substitutes for embryonic stem cells. I have always been a supporter of stem cell research and this breakthrough is just incredible.
What are the simple advantages of stem cell research? Please could anyone ell me the advantages of stem cell research. Just stem cells in general and not embryonic or adult. Thanks in advance The only reason for asking is becasue i am currently undertaking a case study in chemistry and the topic is. Should Stem cell research be legal? One of the sections is , evidence that stem cell research is good. also evidence that stem cell research is bad.
How can someone be against stem cell research/ but support the death penalty? They oppose embryonic stem cell research because they say it is tantamount to murder, but also support the death penalty. If you are opposed to murder, then shouldn't they be against the death penalty? OR If you are in favor of murder, then shouldn't you support stem cell research? This makes no sense. Am I missing something here? Yes, equally good point. Some people are FOR stem cell research which can be interpreted as murder, but they are against the death penalty.
What would be some good discussion questions regarding the topic of stem cell research? I am doing a research project for science class. Us students are put into groups of four and each person has a specific job. Im suppose to develop a list of question that are to be used in class for discussion. But im having difficulty coming up with different questions that could be asked. All ive got is the basic: Are you for or against stem cell research?
What is the Average funding stem cell research recieved before Obama? I am doing a debate on stem cell research and am writting ym affirmitive speech. i am looking for the average amount a stem cell research project recieved before the Obama registration. Greatly appreciate any help you can offer. I am doing a debate on stem cell research and am writting ym affirmitive speech. i am looking for the average amount a stem cell research project recieved before the Obama registration. Greatly appreciate any help you can offer. in my plan im showing an amount that the government could give to funding and i would like to have an amount to compare it to to show the possible increase federal funding would provide
How do I go about investing in stem cell research? I want to invest in stem cell research what do I do? What are the steps to take. Thanks guy! When looking into a company what are some of the things I should look for before I invest! I'm new to this so where do I find a stock broker or do I even need one? Can I invest in these company through the bank!
What do you think of stem cell research? On one hand you have fetuses being "murdered" and On the other hand the research can proove to be very useful for creating new organs ect that will help cure dieseases! What do you think? Is using fetuses for stem cell research wrong?
What do you think about Obama legalizing stem cell research? Obama has just legalized stem cell research and I know it's a very touchy topic and I would love to hear what people have to say about it. Instead of making a quick judgment, I'd love to hear what you think on this subject, so please tell me if your pro or anti and why? K I get it already, Bush didn't make it illegal, sry I was misinformed.
What were each Presidential Candidate's thoughts and feelings on stem cell research? Coverage of many smaller issues during the presidential race were squeezed out of the media agenda due to the coverage of larger topics, such as the economy and the war in Iraq. Not once did I hear anything about Obama and McCain's plans for stem cell research. Although our next president has been chosen I would like to know what McCain's views were on the topic, as well as what President-elect Obama will do about stem cell research.
What organizations/people have spoken out against stem cell research? I am looking for a political or organization's statement made against stem cell research (embryonic), but I am having trouble finding websites aganist the issue. Perhaps most people support it. STOP RANTING, thank you. I support stem cell research by the way, I am just looking for opinions the other side of the issue to cite for a paper.
Why is stem cell research considered unethical? I'm sorry, I should know more about this, but I don't get all these scientifically terms and blah...could somebody explain it to me in easier terms? Is it basically like doing testings on human beings, like they do tests on animals?...I mean embryonic stem cell research. Thanks for the help.
Why don't people who oppose embryonic stem cell research go after fertility clinics instead? The main argument they use is that it leads to destruction of a potential human life, but they always seem to ignore the fact that the stem cells come from unused embryos in fertility clinics that were going to be discarded anyway rather than implanted. If it was a developing fetus that was already in the womb, that's one thing, but it's ridiculous to say the same thing about a blastocyst that won't even be implanted because then you might as well say that every egg or sperm is a potential human life. They also argue that embryonic stem cell research has failed to produce any cures, but if there's barely any research actually being done, then of course it's not going to produce any cures.
What do you think about stem cell research? What are your views of stem cell research? What do you think about the likely possibility that Obama will lift stem cell research restrictions when he comes in office in January?
Is cloning and stem cell research the same? I was just wondering because i am writing a paper on the ethics of stem cell research, and in all the things i've read they say alot about theraputic cloning. I'm wondering for my own personal knowlege and to see if my title even makes sense. The title is: "To clone or not to clone: The ethics of stem cell research" Thanks in advance.
Why would you be against stem cell research? Why would we not do stem cell research when there are 2.1 million abortions per year? I mean seriously, you know how many lives we could possibly save! Ridiculous! Don't take me the wrong way I do think it's wrong if we are intentionally killing embryos to get the stem cells. But if there are 2.1 million abortions per year, than why would we not use those stem cells for the research? Oh yes, 2.1 million are only the REPORTED cases. Who knows how many unreported abortions there are.
What are the current laws on embryonic stem cell research? i have to write an essay about it (embryonic stem cell research), and i can't find the laws that are in place right now, quotes or dates or things would be nice thanks in advance!! <33 **i know i already posted this, i just need an answer quickly!**
What is the deal with Stem Cell research? i heard a lot about it during debates and stuff, and i hear that it can give us answers to curing diseases and even cancer? can someone clear this up for me? What is stem cell research and what is the controversy?
What do you think about the Stem Cell Research Bill? Yesterday, the House of Representatives AND Congress passed the Stem Cell Research bill allowing for the research of cures of COUNTLESS diseases and ailments that mankind. Some that could be cured forever. Before you answer, think about this. With the passing of this bill we could save many upon many lives and cure future diseases forever. Some in which people that have it are tortured for good. We could have Mohammad Ali or Michael J. Fox walking and talking normally by the end of their lives. We could save the lives of the next Stephen Hawking or the next John F. Kennedy. This could be an amazing feat! On the lateral side, we could also kill of the next Albert Einstein or the most brilliant, wonderful person to ever live by killing of the embreyo that they would have become. In this, we could have a loss that would have changed many aspects of the world. What do you think about this bill that was passed? I am not going indepth with science here guy... I work full days and am up at 4 AM, I don't have the time nor the will to read a whole science book about Stem cell Research. What I wanted by this is to find out a little more about this situation. I hoped by this question that maybe more people would see it and give there opinions on it. George Bush let his religious beliefs get in the way of saving many people that could lead an amazing life but were cheated by a disease that honestly wasn't fair... but hey, life isn't fair I guess. It is what it is right?
What are the pros and cons of stem cell research? I need at least 5 for pros and 5 for cons for whether stem cell research is ok.. Could you please try to include religious thoughts on the idea. Your views are also appreciated. Thanks Hearmenowinfo
What is stem cell research, and does anyone know of any credible websites explaining this topic? I am writing a research paper for AP and I would greatly appreciate your knowledge regarding the scientific aspect of stem cell research with all religious issues put aside because a research paper is based on facts not opinions, don't get me wrong I am a Christian but I do strongly support this issue because it would be a huge medical accomplishment for todays society. Thank You.
What good has embryonic stem cell research ever done? GWB was the first president in history to fund it, much to the liberals' dismay (which comes from much igrnorance on the subject), but what diseases has it cured? What about compared to other, more productive forms of stem cell research? It seems to me that the only benefit of embryonic research is to satiate the liberal lust for killing babies. jpferrierjr: source? bushleauger: No babies have been harmed yet, thanks to GWB, he was the first president in history to fund embryonic stem cell research, but only on existing lines ... not off of harvesting for that purpose. Thank you for playing. jp: your wiki link discusses embryonic among other forms of stem cell research, but does not site which forms are the most beneficial
Why do people continue to pursue embryonic stem cell research? Killing a life to produce no real treatments or cures? When will ethics have a place in our science and technology. Embryonic stem cell research (and yes it is going on, despite your liberal claims that Bush has banned it) has resulted in ZERO cures and/or human treatments. Adult stem cell research has resulted in 72 known cures and/or successful human treatments. Democrats again trot out the victim and tell you who is to blame for their disease. Here are the 72 known cures and/or successful human treatments: Brain Cancer; Retinoblastoma; Ovarian Cancer; Merkel Cell Carcinoma; Testicular Cancer; Tumors abdominal organs Lymphoma; Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma; Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia; Acute Myelogenous Leukemia; Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia; Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia; Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia; Cancer of the lymph nodes: Angioimmunoblastic, Lymphadenopathy; Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplasia; Breast Cancer; Neuroblastoma; Renal Cell Carcinoma; Various Solid Tumors; Soft Tissue Sarcoma; Ewing’s Sarcoma; Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia; Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis; POEMS syndrome; Myelofibrosis; Systemic Lupus; Sjogren’s Syndrome; Myasthenia; Autoimmune Cytopenia; Scleromyxedema; Scleroderma; Crohn’s Disease; Behcetʼs Disease; Rheumatoid Arthritis; Juvenile Arthritis; Multiple Sclerosis; Polychondritis; Systemic Vasculitis; Alopecia Universalis; Buerger’s Disease; Acute Heart Damage Chronic Coronary Artery Disease; Corneal regeneration; Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Syndrome; X-linked Lymphoproliferative Syndrome; X-linked Hyper immunoglobulin M Syndrome; Parkinson’s Disease; Spinal Cord Injury; Stroke Damage; Sickle Cell Anemia; Sideroblastic Anemia; Aplastic Anemia; Red Cell Aplasia; Amegakaryocytic ‘Thrombocytopenia; Thalassemia; Primary Amyloidosis; Diamond Blackfan Anemia; Fanconi’s Anemia; Chronic Epstein-Barr Infection; Limb Gangrene; Surface Wound Healing; Jawbone Replacement; Skull Bone Repair; Hurler’s Syndrome; Osteogenesis Imperfecta; Krabbe Leukodystrophy; Osteopetrosis; Cerebral X-Linked Adrenoleukodystrophy; Chronic Liver Failure; Liver Cirrhosis; and End-Stage Bladder Disease
