Is there a website where I could apply to be a mystery shopper, for free? Completely for free. I don't trust having to send 19.95 to some random address! Have any of you done mystery shopping, really? And have any of you been ripped off by some "mystery" employer? My job hours are very part-time where I work, and I am afraid of mounting expenses.

New, Free Artist/Craftsperson Directory site. How can I attract new users? Hello- I just built a new website that serves as a web directory for Artists, Crafts-persons and related businesses. What are some ways I can promote my site, www.findartpros.com on a budget? Thank You!
Trying to find a first job. Hard in my area.? I recently got a car, thankfully it is paid off and gets decent mileage, but insurance is costly (around 120 or so a month). My parents are currently paying for it, and, I expect, want me to help out, and I do want to help out, as well as have some extra spending money on the side. Since the day I turned 16 I have applied to numerous different businesses in my area, with no avail. Big chains, and small businesses. I've applied to them all. I do have three questions though 1. I do make above average grades (around a 3.6) and wish to keep them around this area, as do my parents. I'm fine with have a lot to do with a little time to do it, but I am unsure, since this would be my first "real" job, how much it would affect my school work. 2. Since I have found it difficult to find a job in my area, could I maybe get some suggestions on how to obtain this job? I know the basics, as they aren't that difficult to comprehend, but if I could get some tips from some older people who have more experience than me, I would greatly appreciate it. 3. Are there any, free, websites that have job listings on them for jobs suitable for first-time job seeker? If I could get a site, it would go along way in helping me further. Also, I have completed courses in Spanish (up to Spanish 2), as well as CAD (Computer Aided Drafting), up to level 2, would these be thing I would like to put on my resume, if for nothing but fillers to make it look less empty?
Can I learn Excel or Word online for free? I'd love an office job. I'm a very fast and accurate typist, I'm extremely computer literate. I just lack the qualifications to put on my resume. I'm sure learning Excel, Word, Office or any of the programs typically necessary for receptionist/data entry work, would be extremely easy for me. Most job listings I read require knowledge of spreadsheets, etc. Basically, I'm wondering if there are any websites that can tutor you with these programs for free? I'm sure I could just download/buy the programs and figure it out myself, but surely I'd benefit from any kind of overhand guidance. Thanks for any and all help!

I'm still working on my pricing structure as I want to target small to mid-size companies that have lower recruiting budgets. These are the basic features of my job board: Job Seekers: Advanced job search functions RSS feed for latest jobs Register for a jobseekers account Build your profile Build online resume Build multiple cover letters Upload Word/PDF resume Enable/Disable your resume Receive jobs via email Enable/Disable email alerts Save jobs in your Jobs Inbox Apply to job vacancies instantly View previous applications Upload personal photo Easy to use interface Retrieve login information via email Forward job vacancy to a friend Employers: Advanced jobseeker search functions Purchase employer plans via credit card Purchase employer plans via invoice Access jobseekers database Advertise job vacancies instantly Advertise job vacancies in bulk Edit/Delete job vacancies Upload company logo Purchase jobseeker contact details Save jobseeker resumes in resume Inbox Hide contact details on job postings Company logo displayed by job postings Specify application rules for each job posting Receive application alerts via email View applicants resumes Delete applicant resumes View applicant cover letters ALSO, A FEW THINGS THAT WILL MAKE US UNIQUE: No advertising on the website (no banners, text or third party ads) No work at home or junk job postings allowed. Why is it that when I search for things on the net, I get a lot of vague/unrelated links in the top? I have a legit website, offering free services to employers. When I do a keyword search, for example Job Fairs Toronto, there are lots of results, but when you click on them none lead you to actual listings of Toronto Job Fairs. My site lists job fairs, it is listed on directories, it has proper meta tags, even ppc marketing, yet it never shows up in an organic search. What can be done??

What Are Some Web Resources That List Personal Trainer Job Openings? I have a free membership for gymjob.com through my ACE membership and the search results for personal trainer jobs in my state were nihil. I even called NASM the other organisation I'm certified by to ask for some advice on where I can check online to find listings for personal trainer jobs and the results she gave me came up with no results either... Does anyone here know some good web resources where I can check for personal trainer job openings? I'm looking to find work in another gym, but feel a little left in the lurch as to places to apply to.

Freelance job/service bid websites? A long time ago I found a site (very popular with thousands of users) where you, as a freelance designer, editor, photographer, or any other skill under the sun, could go an bid on local serives/jobs that were needed by someone. Anyone could post a job request, then all the people who were interested in doing that job would put their bid, like their hourly rate, then the original poster could shooe the lowest bidder. Kind of like ebay for job, but you would try to bid down instead of up to get the job you were wanting. It is NOT bid-job.com - I just ran across that site before posting here, and it is small, puny, and not the one I am thinking of. Please do not post to use eBay...I have tried that before and I have had my listings removed because it was not considered "a tangible item" - and please do not suggest giving some trinket free, trying to get around the "tangible item" rule...I am REALLY looking for this other site that focused primarily on freelance bidding.
There has to be someone who hates work as much as I do? I am a stay at home programmer and like my job for the most part, especially when money was rolling in. The economy sucks now, so my sales are less and some customers are crying about $10 prices when to me that is dirt cheap for a script that can enhance their site for their customers. Anyway, I was thinking about working a regular job again, and it has been 8 years since I worked a regular job and I remember hating every second of it. I searched a few topics here and people say that they hate their job but they still manage to do it, whereas with me I hated every second of it and kept trying to work harder but eventually my body and mind couldn't take it anymore and I would quit. Mainly because: 1. days were way too long. Seemed like most days I was at work for two days straight when it was only 9 hours. 2. I noticed all job listings now have 10 hour shifts. Ok, so with traffic about an hour to get to and from work, by the time you eat, shower, you only have about three hours of free time before you have to go to bed and repeat the same thing all over again. 3. Repetitive job where you already know what coworkers are going to say and act, what you are going to be doing nonstop for hours, really boring. 4. A hole boss in your face bossing you around "get over here now!" like you are a slave. Or if boss is a nice guy who places a ton of pressure on everyone to get the job done ASAP or get fired "go go go now now hussle hussle!!!" for 9 hours per day. 5. I say 9 hours since really with the 30 - 60 minute lunch break you are actually there for 9 hours when it is only an 8 hour shift. 6. Most jobs require you to stand and I cannot stand long before my hamstrings are about to die. I am in great shape and run all of the time, but I cannot stand. I am tall and muscular so I suppose my legs cannot support my weight even though I am not fat. 7. No free time for friends or anything fun anymore. There are guys at the gym who I try to invite to certain events and a lot of them cannot go due to their work schedule. I remember when friends tried to get me to go and I was stuck at work. 8. You only have Sat and Sun off, the busiest times of the week to have free time where everyone is at home blasting music and racing down the street. Long lines at the grocery store and barber shop. 9. You are only allowed to eat when you are told or sleep when you are told. Unlike most people I cannot be wide awake and energetic all day long. I cannot go home and fall asleep at exactly 9 PM every night. Some nights I am wide awake, my sleep schedule is totally random. 10. Co workers who try to tease or mess with you and you cannot get away from them. Usually a group of guys who criticize you. I am single and this one buffed guy used to mess with me at the lunch table every single day asking why I do not eat a fully cooked meal like they do. I just hate a regular job, I rather be a poor person living off of the government than a corporate slave with a daily migraine. Hopefully my programming will always bring in money while at home, I can do that no problem.

How to create easy html codes? Hello, I'm a bit new in the whole online job thing and I need help in maximizing a site's services. I've checked out their job listings and applied to a lot of them, so far I've been credited for the ones that I applied in. The PTC and Freelance sites seemed interesting, but the Data Entry part scared me a bit because of the fee so I applied in only one. Luckily, I've been credited for my work so far in all of them, specially the ACME part that gives $125. But I do have problems with the free hosting service, does anyone know of any good software that would allow me to do some easy HTML coding? The site is http://worlwidesearch.ws btw, and it asks for HTML code or text, but I think giving HTML codes would make it more specific. Thanks to anyone who'll help!

Do I stay or do I go? I have been dating my current boyfriend for the last 5 1/2 years. We started dating in college and had a very tumultuous relationship (he cheated on me at least 3 times and lied about a lot). We ended up making it through but it was really hard for me to forgive him because he said it wasn't cheating (in fact it was. We were apart for the summer months and he would go on a date with a girl and then call me and say he loved me and his family had thought we were not together because he referred to this girl as his girlfriend but we never broke up). I found out he cheated on me from his friends and then his family backed it up. Anyway our senior year in college I asked him many times what he wanted to do (break up or stay together) and he never gave me an answer so I decided to leave him and move in with my family. He was not sad the day I left and ran off with his friends. During the summer months he would call me and was really mean and for whatever reason I took this as he cared so I moved to the state he resided in. I got a job and an apartment on my own while he lived at home because he didn't want to pay rent and got everything at home for free. Now his parent have bought him a house and I have moved in with him, his brother, his brothers girlfriend and his high school friend. The atmosphere is very college frat house and I believe by now we should be in a different place...friends of his are always over and we spend little to no time together but it seems he is OK with this because we live together and that is good enough. My boyfriend works for his father and is not pursuing a job in his field but will not get engaged until he is financially set (I have went out of my way to make his resume, apply for jobs, print listings of open jobs in his field all to no use, he just put it all in a drawer and followed up on nothing). I ask him what he sees in his future and he says a job in his field (never mention of being with me unless pressed) but he does nothing to work towards that. I have given up a lot for him. I moved to a state where I have little contact or ability to see my family, I have lost 2 of my college friends because they didn't like hanging out with me because of him, and I am in financial trouble due to having to pay rent and loan bills while living off a job that pays 7.50 a hr. He has lost nothing. Still lives off his family and has them right down the street, has his childhood friends, and is very comfortable with things. I feel like we should be moving onto the next level (engagement) but he is no where near close. I have given this kid almost 6 years to get his shit together and he has not. I was a very ambitious girl and have sense lost this, I feel like I am settling and for a loser none the less. His idea of a good time is going to the bar and smoking pot (I hate drinking!) which I do not enjoy. I am scared to leave but scared to risk my future for someone who has failed to measure up since day one. What should I do?

My Charts are complicated, but I taught HOW to do it and get spectacular good results in a University and even addressed a Statewide Convention for Retarded Citizens and showed them EXACTLY what causes Downs Syndrome. Back in 1977, the net was new and there were not many Listings for me to contact, (which I now have access to,) but even now there are still Birth Defects because 1. They simply don't believe me and won't give me an opportunity to prove my claims and 2. They'd be out of JOBS, once I WERE PROVED TO BE RIGHT. The result of my FREE System being implemented, would cost many THOUSANDS of related JOBS world-wide to disappear overnight..

A seller's agent won't show me a home because I don't have a buyers agent...what to do? Hi, I saw a home on the MLS that I like. When I called the seller's agent to see if they would show it, they wouldn't because I didn't have a buyer's agent...can they do that? They said a buyers agent was "free" so I should get one, but I explained that the price is always 3% higher to cover that commission. I thought their job was to sell the home and I'm a preapproved, 20% down, no home contingency buyer! Any ideas on how I can see these listings? Just to clarify some more. I don't want a buyer agent because I DO pay for it. Sellers mark up their listings by 6% to cover both agent's comissions. While I don't pay that out of pocket, it's much worse, I end up financing it for 30 years! So, my offer would reduce the price by the 3% buyer commission padded in.
Can you summarize this? This year, 29 out of about 1,000 new teachers departed. By TIA MITCHELL, The Times-Union When school began last fall, nearly half of Highlands Middle School teachers were new. sponsored links florida times union archives News From Anywhere In The World's Largest Newspaper Archive. FreeCreditReportsInstantly.com Ads by Yahoo! "I always wanted to be a teacher," is something Principal Cathy Barnes remembers hearing more than once as she conducted interviews over the summer. Most of the 26 newbies had no formal educator training. They were mostly midcareer professionals looking to make a change. Barnes offered to give them a chance, and then set up training and coaching to help them succeed, she said. It took about a month for her to realize that not all of them would. By the winter break, Barnes had let go four of those new teachers by invoking a state law that allows new teachers to be fired without giving a reason so long as it is done within the first half of the school year. Known as the "97-day rule" because of the stated deadline, school administrators say it allows schools to quickly part ways with teachers that simply are not equipped for the job. However, union officials say the law makes it so easy to fire new teachers that principals do that rather than spend the time and money to mold them into better educators. The district has approximately 9,000 teachers. This year in Duval County, 29 out of the approximately 1,000 newly minted teachers were terminated under the 97-day rule or resigned in lieu of being terminated. Many other new teachers have also left the school system this year, though other reasons were cited for their departure. One was later rehired at another school. After their 97-day probationary period expired on Jan. 9, those teachers received the security of knowing they cannot be fired midyear without due process. But they don't have to be reappointed to their post at the end of the school year. After three years, Florida teachers receive tenure, meaning if during the summer break a principal decides not to invite them back to a school, they must be offered other options. The 97-day rule was created in 1997, a time when Education Commissioner Frank Brogan was introducing sweeping education reform. At the time, a group of lawmakers wanted to eliminate teacher tenure laws. Knowing that such a law would not pass, they settled for the 97-day rule instead. Terrie Brady, president of the local teachers union, said of the 800 teachers who have left the school system this year, she feels the 97-day rule is responsible for more than 29, possibly close to 100. She feels half a year isn't long enough to determine who will become a great teacher. "If somebody chooses to want to go into education, why would we not give them as much support as possible and encourage them to stay and make sure they are successful?" she said. Brady said the school system lacks the money, time and resources to devote to professional development, especially since both new and veteran teachers are already bogged down with paperwork, mandates and other things that tax their time outside of the classroom. She advocates for more mentoring and training to help new teachers adapt to the job. She said she agrees there are teachers who should removed from the classroom, but she thinks there should always be a process in place to hear both sides of the story and determine a fair course to follow. Veteran educator Jim Williams was a principal for over a decade before the 97-day rule was in place and about the same time after. During that time, he said he probably used the 97-day rule only twice. "It was always that I cannot leave this person working with students because I believe they are doing damage to students," Williams said. "Nor do I see between now and the end of the year any change." Williams said he always considered the impact of the decision on the students, as well as the employee. Now that he supervises a cluster of principals, he expects them to provide ample evidence supporting their decision to exercise the 97-day rule. In the end, however, he agrees that teachers who are not effective in the classroom should be removed. "We're not an employment agency; we're a teaching institution and students ought to be primary in this," he said.
Script to check links in a MySQL database? I have a directory that contains 800 listings with over 1,000 links to other web sites. Everything is MySQL database driven. I need a script to check each link against 404 errors. This task seems relatively easy for HTML pages, but not when the links are embedded in a database. Hotscripts lists one script that should do the job, but the link is dead :) Hotscripts needs to use such a script itself. Over half the listings on that site now have dead links. I'm prepared to consider a low priced commercial product, but free sounds good.. My site is http://trainzresouces.com if anyone wants to take a look. It's a resource database for a Railroad Simulator. Sorry Joe, It was a slip of the brain. By script I meant PHP and PHP only., and yes, I will run it server-side. All of that I'm very comfortable with. I can even do a MySQL dump of the table containing the data, convert it to HTML and use any software or even a web service. That's too time consuming.
My parents are being difficult, how can I deal with them? First of all, I cut a deal with my parents when I graduated high school, I go to a community college for 2 years and then transfer to a university for free after that if I keep my grades up (it was a scholarship). I asked them if they would promise to let me go away to college and live on campus when I transfer, they said yes, considering my entire college education was free. Well, I graduated, kept my scholarship, haven't had to pay a dime so far. Problem is, the state changed the rules to the scholarship now saying it doesn't cover the entire tuition, since the school I'm transferring to is very cheap, it's only going to cost me about $1,000. Anyway, my parents are being extremely difficult about looking for housing. The school does not provide housing for a lot of upperclassmen and transfers, but the area around the school has tons of apartments, condos, and rooms available. I've been looking at places for a couple of months now, and everytime I bring it up with my parents, they tell me all the bad things about living off campus, you can't trust anyone, blah blah blah, and they put it off. Today, I gave my parents a bunch of listings and they just went through them and said no to each one. They won't let me live by myself (I'm 21 O______O), I can't live with anyone who is not a college student, I can't live with a male, this place is too far, this place is too expensive, you won't be able to live here, the list goes on and on. They shoot down everything I try to give them. I just went up to my mom and said, "you know what, you win. I won't live at school. I'll do the long commute. I give up" and I walked away. I wish it wasn't so expensive, my job now doesn't pay enough for me to live on my own. I'm a full time student. When I'm not at school, I'm at work. There's no way I could pay for this myself unless I live in the slums. What should I do? Yes, they are in charge of paying as I can't afford it, and also they promised me they would, And I've done everything in my power to try to get on-campus housing. I've tried asking my friends who already go there to be roommates, but they are unable to. I just think my parents either don't want to pay for it or like everything else in my life, don't think I can do it, my mom especially. She thinks everyone's a criminal and out to get her.

That's the company's tag line. And they deliver. LOVETHELAB?************ I'm a BD flow lover, a confirmed Mac user (I tell everyone "I don't do Windows"). So why am I touting a machine made by Amnis that requires Windows? Because this instrument goes above and beyond mere flow cytometry- it shows you every event (that's cell to non-flow users) in detail. I used it and I am sold. It takes a single experiment now to do intracellular localization, in place of two. A simpler caspase activation assay. What's not to love? Even the computer quandary is solvable (the one feature I'd change: I'd have it run off a Mac) - with an Intel Mac; just get Parallels software, install Windows, and you are good to go, or rather, run. And the ImageStream can run off an Intel Mac this way too. I bought an Intel iMac just for analysis. Installation of Parallels was easy, IDEAS is about as intuitional as any flow software package. From what I have seen, Flow-Jo and FCSexpress are the more commonly used PC programs. Does anyone have any experience with either of these programs? The other option would be to purchase another Macintosh and use CellQuest. Advice, comments, suggestions? rakeshverma Member United States 93 Posts Posted - February 04 2006 : 10:46:54 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have used CellQuest. Its a good option. However, the best flow cytometry software is FlowJo. There is a PC (Java based) and a Mac version. The Mac version for the moment is quite better. lovesthelab Senior Member United States 807 Posts Posted - July 06 2006 : 4:59:46 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not a PC person, but am an ardent flow person. My flow friends with PCs swear by WinMidi, which is free. If you Google for free flow cytometry software, you'll come to 2 sites, one at UMass, one at Scripps. Lots of free analysis software for the PC, maybe because BD relied on Macs for so long. mlinde Member United States 11 Posts Posted - August 02 2006 : 5:44:55 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As an update, I tried trial versions of FCSexpress and FlowJo and wasn't really happy with either of them compared to Cell Quest. The most comprehensive flow cytometry and analytical cytology website I have found. You will find resources ranging from archived protocols to request forms for the latest protocols CD-ROMs - and they are free while supplies last. Job listings, meetings, journals, latest developments- it is all here. Lectures Website Dr. J. Paul Robinson, Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, has put a compilation of lec-ture slides on a website. Some of the information is bullet statements, but the pictures are great. If you've never seen a flow cytometer, you'll see lots of them here. If you are new to flow, you'll find in-troductory slides here. Practical Flow Cytometry, Fourth Edition by Howard Shapiro, published by J. Wiley & Sons, 2003. Website Dr. Shapiro has kindly put his textbook online through Molecular Probes. It is free! Yes, you do need to register to see it, but that's all you need to do, and you have access forever. Flow Cytometry E-mail Discussion Group Website Have a question? Novices to experts, all levels of questions are welcome. This e-mail group has been invaluable to me. E-mails are archived and can be searched by topic. International Society for Analytical Cytology Website The premier society for flow cytometry, it publishes Cytometry Parts A and B (Clinical Cytometry), Case Studies in Clinical Flow Cytometry, and Current Protocols in Cytometry. These are available on-line, but you must be subscribed for access. Regular dues are US $126; fees are deeply dis-counted for students, post-doctoral fellows, and scientists from developing nations. Please consider joining. National Flow Cytometry Resource, Los Alamos National Laboratories Website Where the cutting edge happens. NFCR runs a course every June that alternates between Los Ala-mos and New England. I recommend it to the serious flow person; you will learn a tremendous amount, including how to build your own flow cytometer, if you are so inclined. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said slightly more than half of the influenza virus strains reported to its surveillance system are not good matches against the strains included in this flu season’s vaccine. The number of states reporting widespread flu activity jumped to 31 this week compared with 11 a week ago, the CDC said. But Dr. Joe Bresee of the CDC’s influenza division said there are no indications this flu season is worse than usual. Story continues below ↓ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- advertisement -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Seasonal flu activity was slow to start this year but has increased sharply in recent weeks,” Bresee told reporters. One measure officials use to gauge the severity of the season is the number of flu-related child deaths. Bresee said the CDC has heard of six U.S. children who have died from the flu, a relatively low number compared with recent years. Flu viruses mutate and change all the time, so every year a different vaccine is created as officials predict which particular strains will circulate. The vaccine is designed to protect against three influenza strains — two from Type A, an H1N1 and an H3N2 version, and one for Type B. Bresee said about 30 percent of the overall strains of influenza in the United States may be a Type A strain that emerged in Australia called H3N2 A/Brisbane. It emerged too late to be included in the flu vaccine offered in the United States beginning in September and October. The Type B strain chosen for this year’s vaccine also was not a good match for most of the B virus strains seen in the United States this flu season, Bresee said. “While a less-than-ideal virus match between the viruses in the vaccine and those circulating viruses can reduce vaccine effectiveness, we know from past influenza studies that the vaccine can still protect enough to make illness milder or prevent flu-related complications,” Bresee said. Click for related content Flu season in full swing Flu in U.S., Canada shows drug resistance Under-the-tongue vaccine could help lick the flu Bresee noted that decisions on the composition of the annual vaccine are made about nine months before it is made available to the public in the fall, and it is sometimes hard to know that far in advance which strains will circulate. Flu vaccines take months to make. Bresee also said some resistance is being reported to the antiviral drug Tamiflu, made by Switzerland’s Roche Holding AG and Gilead Sciences Inc of the United States. Of the viruses tested in CDC flu labs, 4.5 percent are resistant to the drug, Bresee said. Influenza kills an estimated 36,000 Americans in an average year, and puts 200,000 into the hospital, the CDC said. Copyright 2008 Reuters. Click for restrictions. How do I find an entertainment job online? Im looking for a job/career in the music or entertaianment industry. Most of the site that has job listings require payment. Which plumber should I choose for our plumbing problem? The 1st plumber we called sent a camera into our pipes, and was able to see that the sewer line underneath our house needs to be replaced. He then gave an estimate of $3880. I then went onto a website called servicemagic.com and got listings for other plumbers. 2 of the 4 had bad reviews with the BBB, and the other 2 were not listed. Of those unlisted, one was so late for my free estimate that I called to cancel, and the other one gave me an estimate over the phone after I described the situation. The estimate was $2075 to tunnel from the outside and $1330 if they go through the slab on the inside. I'm not sure who to choose because the first one has won awards by the BBB. They were on time and professional, and I am confident they will do the job well, quickly and on time. Given the caliber of the other three plumbers from service magic, I'm a little scared to go with the other one. My question is: which price is the most typical for a job like this, and who would YOU choose? sensible_man: they are replacing it, they need to tunnel under the ground to get to the pipe, because it's under my house (not in the yard). Marvin A: No, they are just replacing the pipe that is under the house all the way to the cleanout. From the cleanout to the street, the pipe is fine, and he showed me both on the camera. The problem is, the pipe under the house had cracks and this attracted roots due to water and manure leakage, and then the roots ripped the pipe up. The pipe going to the street has no cracks and has held up for 15 years.
My Fiance wants me to move in! ? me and my fiance are approaching 3 years. I want our wedding to be on our anniversary in 2010 although he wants it to be earlier (see previous question). We are planning to purchase a home together to move in after the wedding. But.. he wants us to live together now. and for us to get an apartment as soon as possible. he keeps emailing me apartments and newspaper listings. He even brought it up when we make love!! like ooohh baby, dont u love me, then come live with me.. im like wtf? uh killing the moment. but anyway.. I dont want us to live together until after we get married. Esspecially since my family are traditionalist. Its a combination of me being comfortable where i am and i enjoy my privacy, and my family and saving what would be 'rent' on the wedding and our down payment. (i have free living arrangments/ and his is somewhat free..) He tries to replay sum bs he heard from someone else to convince me to move about being prepared to live together ater we get married or something like that.. but we spend an obscene amount of time together already, esppecially nights over. theres no need to 'reherse' what comes naturally. & he knows that. We mesh well together when it comes to living arrangements. we have our sides of the bed. i cook all his meals & pay the bills on time. he does our laundy & the dishes. so weve practiced enough. i love our relationship the way it is.. im a grad student and work and he has 2 jobs, we only see eachother every other night and on days off. we text all day. i still think hes sexy as hell, and he thinks im gorgeous. we act like 2 teenagers together. and look forward to seeing eachother till this day. Why ruin the anticipation?! I know he likes having me around and i do look forward to being with him more.. eventually. but if we move in, i dont want us to get used to eachother and lose this spark weve maintained for the last few yrs. and i want us to look forward to it after the wedding. i want us to have a wonderful spiceful marriage and always have something to look forward to.. then after that he'll have to look forward to convincing me to having kids.. lol jus kidding. btw. i hate when ppl say 'you shouldve discussed this before the engagement' but for me and the people ive known.. a proposal is usually a SURPRISE. i didnt make him want to get engaged or know about it. it happend. a yr ago actually. But ive just announced it so 2 me the time for discussing these things would be now, after youre engaged. re: his bad habits. I know his bad habits also, he spends a lot of time over, and considers my home his. so he unfortunately doesnt hold back. but ive already acustomed myself to his bad habits. and he def knows mine cuz he comes over and tries to fix them.
