Job search help!! What should I look for when looking for financial counseling jobs? I am currently trying to job hunt and am interested in a financial counseling position with a non-profit compant. I DO NOT want to work for a credit card company...only non-profits! I am having a horrible time finding any jobs that are anything close to what I want to do. I am using Monster and Yahoo Hotjobs and can't find a thing. Anyone have any search tips for this career or any other sites that could help me? Thanks!! And btw, I will be an AFC (an Accredited Financial Counselor) soon so I have more than the needed experience and credentials.
Where can I search for jobs that start around the summer of 2010? My apologies in advance if the question's kinda dumb. I'm going to graduate art school next May, and I'm nervous as hell as to what the next move will be. Of course I'm going to schedule meetings with the people over at Career Services, but that still isn't enough to alleviate my nervousness about the situation. So I'm wondering...where can I search for jobs that start around summer of 2010? Any advice (that isn't smarmy or hurtful) is welcome.

Where can I search for Teachers assistant jobs, or support staff in schools? I am currently enrolled in college courses for Social Science with Education Concentration, and will then take Teacher certification. I would really like to get my foot in the door with a local school, but I dont know where to go to search for job openings within the schools. Does anyone know where I can go to search for openings, without having to actually go to each and every school website. I live in Tennessee.
Does anyone know of a job search website that matches people to jobs based on skills? I'm basically thinking of something that will think of every imaginable skill people can have in the workplace, and you'll check something like "I have skill and experience," "I have skill but not experience," "I have experience but no skill (sad)" and then will produce a drop-down window that matches your answers to jobs -- sort of a virtual placement counselor. Has anyone seen anything like that? Ignore the "drop down window" part. I really just confused matters. Hey Kevin. I checked it out. It's interesting. Definitely on the right track though it's only available in Texas and California right now and I'm in New York. The only real problems I saw with it are a) it forces you to choose a line of work in which you're interested and I don't want to do that, and b) Every skill question asks if you're certified in the skill and in some cases it isn't applicable. There's no "not applicable" button.

I am wanting to relocate to find a better job, but jobs I search for do not specify pay? You are not supposed to bring up the matter of pay at the interview, but the jobs I am applying for are out-of-state. I don't want to move to take a job and end up getting paid the same or less. People work to pay the bills. Why don't these job listings tell me how much I will be making? It stresses me out!! Do you think if these places call me, they will tell me how much the job pays before I get on a plane to go to an interview?
