How to find a word in multiple pages or how to combine web pages? My job in my workplace is to find a specific word (name or code number) in around 50 web pages and to print that page. I use lot of time for that. Can you suggest a software that can combine all the pages to one so that i can find it easily using my browser (Firefox 3)? OR Is there any browser that at once can search in its all Tabs?

after your bachelors degree-where did you find an entry level job? I graduated with a 4 year degree in marketing in May. I've been searching for a job to use that skill in either event planning,advertising, management or purchasing since Jan. 2008. I've had my resume critiqued and applied to many jobs in multiple states and nothing has come of it. ANY suggestions? Where are all the entry level jobs?

What do I do about not being able to find a job? I have a B.A in Business Administration, 5 years retail experience, 4 years experience as an administrative assistant, and 4 years of data analysis experience. I lost my job in December and have been actively looking for a new one ever since. I have applied to over seven hundred jobs during that time, using multiple online sources, as well as resorting to driving around to retail stores and restaurants and filling out applications and talking to the manager. I've also applied with eight different placement/temporary agencies, all of which told me that they have way more applicants than usual and way fewer jobs than usual. I ran out of money several months ago, lost my apartment, and had to move in with my parents. About 6 weeks ago, i FINALLY found a job, but it is only 12 hours a week, which earns me about $400 a month. That's only enough to keep my car from getting repossessed (and no, I can't sell the car because I owe more on it than it is worth and also would have no way to go to interviews without it, let alone to work if I get a job). I have done everything that a person looking for work is supposed to do and then some, but I still can't get even a low paying job. I lost my home and most of my belonging, I can't buy ANYTHING, I can't go out other than to go to my part time job or to apply for other jobs, and I'm putting an unfair burden on my parents. I NEED TO START WORKING NOW, but I don't know what else I can do! Any advice? Added: I live in the Chicagoland area. And I'm not a guy, I'm a woman. And for what it's worth, I'm 29. I just don't know how to fix the silouette thingie that makes me look like a guy.

Writing a resume: how to add multiple job positions at the same company? Hi, I have difficulty separating multiple job positions that I've worked in the same company. I used to be a Software Developer for 5 years, then I was promoted to Business Analyst and I've worked as a business analyst for the last one year. I want to find a job as a Business Analyst and I need to focus on these responsibilities. How do I add two Job Titles in the resume? I can't really add the years and just use Business Analyst can I? To refuse to date men who live at home with parents (of course discluding anyone who are actually taking care of aging parents, and not using that as a fake excuse). I also don't get the "I'm in school" thing either past 25ish, I mean people work and go to school. Adults of all ages, older adults 40+ go back to school all the time, but they don't move back in with mom to do it.... I really try to not be judgmental in my daily living, but I guess as someone who has been completely on her own since 20, often times working multiple jobs, I find this a hard thing to accept. I am only 24, I like older guys, so I'm talking men in late 20s to mid 30s. I am not looking for a rich guy, just a man who can support himself just in a small studio apt. Is it our economy now? Trying to narrow job choices using internet? Im in highschool, and don't know what i want to do with my life. I know i still have a lot of time to decide, and many students change their minds in college multiple times. But i'de like to get some idea. I was hoping to find a web site that lists jobs their descriptions, salarys, ect. Im good at math, science, art, hiustory, and english. so i have no idea what to do. My resume shows I worked at multiple jobs for a total of 32 years how can I cut down the total years I worked? My resume shows I had been employed for a total of 32 years at different positions. I have everything dated on my resume for each job. I feel I can not find employment because of age discrimination. Is there something I can eliminate on my resume as far as dates go? The dates on my resume go back to 1975 when I started working and ended at the beginning of 2007. I had three office positions within these dates. The first position was at a company from 1975-1996 alone. If someone has some advice on what to do I could use your help. I thought working for a long period of time was a good thing but I guess now a days it leads to job discrimination. Struggling to find a job in Marketing?! Help?!? I currently work as a Marketing Assistant/ Print Media executive for a major national betting company. I deal with all the print material for press on a daily basis. I also oversee and assist with the delivery of in-store marketing campaigns and liaise with print production houses to deliver the marketing material (i.e posters). I also assist with event promotions/ organisations and source marketing 'goodies' such as key rings, pens etc.. Another main part of my job is to create, maintain and update on a daily basis multiple online websites using a CMS. Some of the online campaigns I work with also involved creating and co-ordination direct mail marketing campaigns. For the print side, I have to front meetings to source content for the week ahead, and designate out work loads either to myself or the design team, proactively designing adverts myself. I do all of this and more to a high standard and constantly get praised at work. I have handed my notice in as I am moving to London, but despite nearly three years experience doing the above I cannot seem to find a job doing the same or similar in London. I have applied for over one hundred jobs, all of a similar role (Marketing Assistant) consisting of similar tasks to my current day to day job yet I can't seem to be able to actually get one. I havent managed to secure any interviews yet and I am moving in just over two weeks time. Any advice, or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks To add... How can I split a PDF file into multiple PDF files automatically where a blank page is found? I've just purchased a Scanjet 5590 scanner, and am in the process of scanning masses of paperwork in the house. The scanner scans bundles of paper using the automatic document feeder to PDF format. What I would really like to do is bundle lots of different documents together and insert a blank or separator page between different documents and then automatically split the generated PDF into individual document files where the blank / seperator page is found in the PDF. I've tried to find software that will recognise separator pages and split PDFs but it all seems to be too expensive! Is there some free or cheap software available that will fit my needs? I don't have Adobe Acrobat so an Acrobat plugin will not do the job. I've found software that will split individual pages but it's not sophisticated enough to offer recognition of blank/separator pages. Many thanks for the suggestion Scott. Foxit Software seem to offer some good tools, but I've contacted them and they don't offer software to split on blank/separator page at the moment. Any other takers?

Is there any technology that will help me find a job faster, besides linkedin, etc ? Google Chrome browser and other Google products (Google voice, Google docs, Gmail, etc) helped me get multiple job offers very soon after I was laid-off from a company. Here is how. When I was given notice of layoff from previous company, I did not have to think about my personal data(documents, spreadsheets, photos, contacts, bookmarks, browser extensions, passwords, etc) being on that company’s computers or that data getting lost, since it was all in my google account. For example, Contacts etc were at Google voice contacts, bookmarks and extensions etc were in my google chrome account. All I had to do, after the lay-off, was head over immediately to Fry’s electronics and buy a new inexpensive laptop(AMD processor), which I got for $299+tax. It had a 15.6 inch screen and Internet capability, that was all I needed to download the Google chrome browser (and Google video chat plugin) onto, and do a login and sync (of bookmarks, extensions, passwords, theme, etc) , and voila - I was in my personalised google account again, and the URL search suggestions etc were meaningful to me. Next, I had to create my resume on google docs and publish it. I got the link to the resume, which I sent out via my gmail account to various companies. The advantage of sending the link to Google document of my resume (instead of an actual Word document) was that not only did I not have to purchase the Microsoft Word program, but that sending the link to the Google document, would lead to lesser total disk space consumption for everyone, and I could modify my resume anytime, and all the folks who viewed my resume at Google docs site would always see the latest-and-greatest copy of my resume. Since I had got my AT&T landline phone disconnected (was using my Google voice number on laptop as the main contact number) and did not have a company mobile phone any longer, I continued to my Google voice number as my contact phone number, so that I could answer incoming phone calls, view missed calls and listen to voice messages (which I could not do with my AT&T landline phone) all from my Gmail dashboard, and from any computer, since I happened to use the library computers also. Anytime I would get an email or a missed call from any of these contacts, I would call them up in a couple of clicks right from gmail (using the Google voice “call phone” feature.) I tried to keep my Inbox zero (ie delete all mails) that were not actionable, and the hyperthreads of conversations helped my quickly respond to thread, and delete the whole thread at once. This helped me send our multiple letters (with linked resume) to multiple folks, have phone calls with them at Gmail. And I would go to company websites and quickly submit resume and other personal details using Chrome auto-fill , which saved me time (and mental energy, which was very much needed then) and I was able to submit resume to lots of companies in a short amount of time. Very soon, I landed multiple job offers. I sold off the laptop (and my data is in the Google Chrome account) so that when I login from my company computer or get a laptop from the new company again, I will have access to my data again at the new company.

This include if the person has an invisible disability (including high functioning autism, mild depression)--and THEY insist it is MILD i do beleive people with some invisible disabilities can pass as non disabled-such as high functioning autism, mild to moderate depression, severe heart/lung problems.... Psychiatric disabilities aren't in quetsion here--i would hope that if someone tried reporting a person for fraud solely because they are able to engage in physical activities--SS would realize (I hope) that the fraud complaint was unfounded as the disability is not based on a physical impairment--and not take it far at all. this is only about people who claim to have PHYSICAL disabilities that entitle them to SSi--but have few physical limitations--or people who claim to not be able to work--but are pulling in a HIGH salary working off the books--such as people who have been caught claiming tehy have a severe back problem--but than work on major construction projects-including lifting heavy supplies repeatedly.....

Can anyone help me find this Manga please? I can't remember the title but it is about this guy who ends up the "master" of this fox girl. In detail, he is unsure about this because though she is beautiful, she is prone to setting him on fire when she gets angry at him. She is one of the most powerful of "dog spirits" but has a large tail that she is embarrassed about. Through the series they take on jobs and other tasks. im bout to be homeless hate my life? sorry for reposting i couldnt figure out how to find my old post. im 19 year old guy. i have a huge problem and i dont know how to fix it. i hate my life. i cant remember the last time i was truely happy. grew up with a schizophrenic father who ****** my head up and abandoned me at a young age, had very few friends my whole life, never even kissed a girl, and i have never been good at anything in my whole life. i have no skills and i am fairly uneducated for my age. havent been able to get an A in any class my whole life. when i graduated high school 6 months late i immideatly enrolled in college. i tried my hardest there and failed. after realizing im probally never going to be a college graduate no matter what i did i decided to get a job. i tried multiple jobs and couldnt keep one for more then a month. then when i realised i cant even work a minimum wage job i decided to go back to drug dealing (which i admit im not very good at because i dont know enough people) i was pushing O's of coke making 70% profit ( thats alot) but i wasnt pushing them as often as most people would who were deal ounces. i earned enough to stay high all day on multiple drugs but nothing more. my dealer went to prison and now im screwed. i owe multiple dangerous people alot of money. i been using multiple drugs since i was 14 but i never been able to afford drugs enough to get addicted. it sucks because drugs have really been the only thing i really got interested in. i find drugs facinating in everyway. sometimes id waste 400 worth of drugs in one day for like a week straight and others times id be broke for weeks on end and sober for like up to 2 months. been like that my whole life with drugs. as a matter of fact somehow ive managed to make my whole life revolve around em even though i hardly use them now. i really have no goals or amibitions in life i know my future will suck because i fail at everything i do and i dont really think i have learned the skills to succed in life. im a scrawney short dude and im too much of a wimp to go career criminal. sometimes i think about running away from here and go be homeless out in hollywood or something. i hate my life i havnt even left my house in 3 weeks (basically because i have nobody to hang out with and if im seen by any the people i owe money to i could be seriously hurt or killed. im getting kicked out of my house soon anyways. dont tell me go to rehab. which im sure some of you are going to say because 1. im not addicted i rarely have the money for drugs anymore. 2. i cant afford it, whats the point in going to rehab if i need the money so i can pay people back so im not shot at next time im walking somewhere. matter of fact if anybody has good tips on how to survive homeless let me here em because im most likely gonna be homeless soon.

Is there a cheaper end sewing/embroidery machine that can handle a few small leather jobs? I'm about to start learning how to sew for crafting, clothing, and costuming. I wanted to get a lower cost yet good sewing/embroidery machine around $700 is my limit for this artistic excursion. There are a few great deals I'm finding, but I have no clue what I'm getting into with these machines. Call me a "jack of all trades" I would love to have a machine with multiple uses and functions for later when I become more familiar with the basics and want to push myself to using a machine like the ones I'm considering to their full potential. I would like a machine that can handle leather (softer leathers for the most part but possibly some heavier ones not layered more than twice as well). How can we find a balance in our educational system? It seems like the attitude on education seems to shift between one of two extremes, depending on who you're talking to. One group seems to believe that the only value in education is direct job training, vocational programs to earn practical job skills, while the other groups sees such programs as limiting and encourages a focus on pure academics. Both approaches are flawed, in my opinion. It's definitely important that students be able to leave college with the skills and credentials to land a well paying job which will help them become financially independent, but it is also important that students use the college experience to expand their horizons and learn new things, even if this knowledge isn't necessarily going to help them get a job in the future. So why do people think in terms of those two extremes? Why do people seem to think that students who aim to be practical and responsible have to sacrifice the things they are interested in? I am working on an appointment book program for my java class, I am not sure how I am going to go about this yet but here is my idea: Use a filewriter to put the appointments into one text file, each appointment prefixed by a string of numbers. Do people with bad behavior have the right to be picky? Some of the men I know have good jobs and have gained financial success, but they have bad attitudes and will date multiple (I call it USE) women at one time. I also think they have insecurity issues. But they feel they can be "picky" about the women they choose. I am confused about my feelings for my best friend? My best friend is like a brother to me. And I can't get mad at him. Its like there's some aspect of his personality that redirects any negativity I feel towards him back onto me. Because of this, whenever he has something going well for him, and I get jealous (which is a lot--I'm kinda dumpy, just got out of a relationship, not talented, struggling to find purpose in life and he's an attractive musician with multiple jobs lined up and a girlfriend), I get super depressed and filled with self-loathing. Basically, its at the point now that whenever I'm with him, I feel terrible because of how great he is, and when he's away, I feel depressed because I am left to examine my life...which kinda sucks. Do you feel that I am being taken advantage of by my family, or am I just overreacting???? Heres the background---- My brother and his friend needed a place to stay while trying to find jobs in FLorida. My parents said only he could stay at their house, not the friend. He told his friend that it was OK to park in the driveway of my house (it is vacant because we moved out and put it up for sale) and sleep in his van. Also he told his friend that he could use my address to get a drivers license. The only way I found this out is because I have got pawn tickets in my mailbox where this guy has pawned merchandise. I dont like this friend of his cause he is hot headed and a thug. How can I make myself stand out amidst many applicants for a job? I have been out of college for 4 years now. My first year out of college I found a job in my field of study (teaching) but I had to move to a new area where jobs were scarce and had to take a job in a different field. There is now a job opening in my degreed field, but when I went to turn in my resume, I found there are multiple applicants for this job -- as expected. How should I do my sideburns? I shave using a wilkinson sword quattro, and have normal straight sideburns, but as I find it difficult to do sideburns with a multiple blade razor (this one has 4 blades) I end up using a cheap disposable one just for sideburns.. This does the job but is not close shave at all, and looks funny when I have a decent close shave from my quattro.. Careers in sociolinguistics? Right now I speak English and Spanish, and I'm learning Italian. My interest is in the sociolinguistics of ALL of these languages, but I'm not sure what I can do with that. I've been looking online to try and see what kind of careers that would open up to me, but all I can find is the generic list of every job in existence where it would be beneficial to speak another language. Can anyone help me out with some careers that actually FOCUS on sociolinguistics? If possible, something I could do using multiple languages? Bought a used car from dealer, now find out it was completely repainted with crappy paint job.? So on 8/30 I bought a subaru wrx with 20k miles from a nissan dealer. I was told it was a clean title and was showed a clean carfax. Well just yesterday I noticed some fisheyes in the paint on the rear drivers door. I was a little mad because i figured it had been repainted and i was not notified. Well today I want to a professional auto body shop. {Top of the line, this place is like 6k for a paint job.} And was told by multiple people that the entire car had need repainted, they showed me blemishes, placed that were taped off, sanding marks and so on. Wage Garnishment in MN? I have finally found a job after 5 years of suffering. I had to use multiple credit cards to feed myself and lost my home. Also during this time I found out I had diabetes. I have over $40,000 in debt in credit card and medical bills and my credit is extrmely poor. I am eventually going to file bankruptcy. However, my question is not about bankruptcy or my credit. My question is about wage garnishment. I have a court judgement against me from a creditor. I've been protected from the garnishment because I've been collecting unemployment benefits and have been on food stamps. Desktop Master/Slave WD Caviar Confusion- White Flag up here? I just bought a new desktop and fortunately I still have the old one here. Meanwhile my son & DIL desktop went kaput. Their's has multiple blown capacitor problems and it looks like it is probably 'toast'. Meanwhile, they need a computer to use and things off of their hard drive due to lack of backups. So, I have their PC here and my old one will do the trick for them I hope. The two desktops were bought the same year and are very close in in age etc. My PC had a WD Caviar EIDE master and a Seagate slave. I pulled the Seagate slave out of mine and then I took their only (master) WD Caviar out with the intention of making it a slave in my working old desktop to put things on a external USB drive for them. And also to let them use my old PC until they can find jobs again. Here is my query.... Taking the Master WD Caviar out of my old PC, the pins are set in the factory position right right next to the ribbon plug. My Seagate had the jumper pulled & taped to the top of it as it should be for the Seagate slave situation. Now, ironically both of the Western Digital Caviar's have identical model numbers WD800BB. I am confused because the way I am seeing things the hard drive I pulled from my PC had the jumper in the default (null) position and it was the master. It looks as if that might have been wrong all along and it worked for years that way. How could it have been running as a master without the pins in the middle position? And... now I am unsure of where to put the jumpers on my old WD which will remain as the master and my son's identical WD which was their only drive and will temporarily become (hopefully) a slave on my old machine so we can get at the things that need to be backed up and also useable for them. What should I do -- stay in MD or move to FL? So here is the back story: I just graduated from college, and recently moved to Silver Spring, Maryland. I just received a position as a hostess at a Red Lobster so I can make some money while I'm trying to find a job I can use my psychology degree for. Additionally, it is important to know that my mother is ill with Multiple Sclerosis, and likely has around 6 months left and my grandmother died last month. My aunt is/was caring for both of them in Florida. Now here is the issue: I'm not completely happy in MD. I recognize I haven't given it a lot of time yet, I just don't know if it's right for me. And then there's the issue of my family down in Florida. My aunt is lonely without my grandmother, and could really use my help down with my mother. But I have a responsibility to my roommate in MD (who is also my best friend) to make sure she has a place to live that is good and okay for her. Is there a characterization for this type of low self-esteem? Recalcitrant behavior, opposition to compliments? As I was growing up, I was always heavily applauded by my parents. My father has a physics PhD and was accepted into Yale University. Of course, high prestige goes along with superior grades, especially with Asian cultures. Teachers and doctors alike were tremendously impressed by my intelligence when I was younger, deeming me a child prodigy. When I was younger, I was always proficient at any activity I performed and was generally well-rounded. My concerns were never to compete on a narrow track, but to do things creatively and to seek a sense of identity. As for my education, I was always learning things in short-term processes, and had little tolerance for things that took too much time. My childhood consisted of long rides to the City (NYC) and waiting on my parents during business trips bored to death. And because of huge financial difficulties, my parents work multiple jobs and have never been able to fund private lessons, tutors, or rides to outside activities. I was doomed to lack of opportunities and fell behind. I honestly feel as though there is a gap in my parents' memories, because they still regard me as always naturally being "the best." I never took that compliment to heart, especially now, because I always understood that I was never completely developed in my skills, though agile at retaining information. Without any long-term skills, such as piano playing, swimming lessons, etc, I never thought it appropriate to deem myself the best or smartest by default. However, my parents did, and still treasure all the various awards I got from middle school and before. I can't stand that my father brags about my President's award from middle school, and that doesn't help me a single bit now. Rather, him harping on that is detrimental to my self-esteem. Now, I am 18 and a high school senior and bring this up with great concern, especially seeing that my biggest weakness has been my lack of extra curricular activities (as a result of difficulty accessing them, and not developing skills early on to join music or sports groups) and my mediocre grades (essentially, BS'd my way to first honors). Studying has been an incredibly difficult task for me because of the heavy commitment of time. Usually the initial reaction people get from me is that I'm incredibly educated and well-rounded, which is funny to hear because my grades are sub-par. I spend most my time learning things outside of the curriculum. Hitting the books can literally cause me nausea. Mentors teaching me extraneous topics disappoints me, when the motive is to learn in order to brag and thus achieve superiority. Just the idea of forcing myself to learn induces opposition, and I find it hard to curb this habit. My ideal of academic delivery/presentation is mostly improvisational. In social situations, I find it hard to take a compliment. The compliments about my personality I get are generally that I'm "mysterious" and "hard to read" if the speaker is just making initial impressions. Compliments on my looks I don't take too well or pass over casually, if that helps. My friends are surprised that I'm not at the top of the class, but at the same time think I'm so reticent about grades because I'm not doing all that well. It is correct to an extent, but I actually am not too fond of using figures to judge someone's intelligence. It seems to me that throughout my childhood, I never thought I was justified as being the best, and only understood my great potential. "The cup is empty" and I am never completely satisfied with myself. I don't think this would fall under categorizations of a simple "inferiority complex" knowing that the causes of my low self-esteem has ironically, been taking good compliments. Has anyone ever even heard of anything similar? Thanks!

How can I fix the clear coat that's peeling on my car? I have an older car which has clear coat peeling on the hood and roof. Big time! I don't like driving it because it looks so bad. Can I sand it down and put some touch up paint on it? I know this isn't the right way to do it but I have no choice. I can't afford a paint job or a new car.I have done something similar to this before. I sanded down the rust and applied touch up paint. Didn't look bad for a quicky job. And my car looked alittle better. I could really use some suggestions to my problem. I can live with the rust but this peeling is very unapeeling! I hate to sound cheap so I'll let you in on my situation. I'm on disability due to Multiple Sclerosis. Living alone doesn't allow my budget to include a new car or paint job. So I need your help! Excell array formulay for multiple pages in a workbook? Hi all... I have a sales order intake sheet which is spread across 12 pages (one for each month). In column A is the customer name and in column C is the order value for that job. I am trying to find a formular which can look at every occurance of a specific customer within the whole 12 months and add up all the respective order values. I am able to do this on a page by bage basis using this simple SUMIF formular ( SUMIF(A1:A1000,"Customer1",C1:I1000)) ). But that would meen adding loads more data to the work book as I would have to SUMIF each customer on every page meaning lot's of exess data and I am trying to keep the size of the sheet down becuse it gets emailed. Is their an array formular or something I can use which would allow me to do the above but for all 12 pages in one formular on a summary page rather than having to duplicate the same thing on each page and add it all up. My mom has been addicted to crack for 10 years, what should I do? My mom used to be a wonderful mother, more than 10 years ago. She used to cook for us (my sister, and step-father), everyday. She used to clean, and exercise all the time. She was like my best friend, and was always there for me. Until April 16th, 1999 (her 31st birthday party). I was 13 going on 14 in May, at that time. My step-dad's birthday was also April 16th, ironically, so they had a huge birthday party. It was pretty fun, but went to sleep at my cousins later that evening. After that night, things have never been the same again =(. Apparently, she was in the basement that night with my step-father and his friends. His friends offered him a hit I guess, so he then offered one to my mom as well. His friend advised to not let her take one, but she insisted to try it. It's crazy how trying it just once, can change your life forever. I had no idea how bad the drug was until they both got addicted to it. As the time flew by, they fell into a serious crack addiction. The addiction eventually tore their marriage apart. My mom lost her job, and became a pathological liar. They would have several different crackheads in and out of the house often at night. I knew what they were doing, because I began to find broken crack pipes and such. My mom told me straight up that she craves it, and it gives her a rush after every hit. The smell of it was so awful. It smelt to me, like someone who has bad breath sneezing or something. She started cheating on my step-dad with his friends, and not showing up for weekends at a time. He began not coming home at night, and returning early in the morning to get ready for work. When I would confront her about it, she would never listen. Since I was a teenager, I would just come and go as I please. I saw it as freedom, but eventually got pregnant. I started ditching school, and then dropped out once I turned 16. No one stopped me, and I wasn't thinking about the consequence. They would give my sister money, and let he sleep at her friends when ever she wanted. My sister was young, but knew what they were addicted to. However, she just saw it as freedom as well. After having my son at 15 years old. Things became rough. They stopped paying for the water, electricity, and phone. I had to move in with my grandparents, due to the poor living environment. I told my grandparents about their problem, and they got together with my step-dad's parents to attempt an intervention with my mom and step-dad. They went to their house and stayed talking to them for hours. They all cried together, so I thought they finally seen the light. Unfortunately, it did not work though. The problem became worse. My mom and sister's dad eventually divorced, and sold the house. My mom then met another guy, who had a good head on his shoulders. He was not into drugs or alcohol, and has an awesome career. He purposed to my mother, then wanted her to move in with him. He lived in a town 2 hours away, so my sister and I followed. We actually thought that since we were moving away from the drugs, that it would bring our mom back to how she used to be. It didn't work though. She found the drugs rather quickly, and began to disappear on him. We would be at home with him while she was gone. He would be going crazy and not understand why this was happening. He didn't know of my moms problem. We couldn't stand to see him like that, so we told him the truth. He was devastated, but at the same time wanted to help her. After years of trying to help her, he finally divorced her. During that time though, he hired a private investigator to follow her. He stated that she has turned to prostitution. He divorced her at the beginning of this year. After the divorce, she was missing for about two months. She began dating and using multiple men for their money. Once they became aware of her drug problem, they kicked her out. She is still in the little town, and calls me once in awhile from a different guys number. Every time I talk to her, she says she is clean, and is trying to get her life back together. Which has been her same lie for years. I'm at the point where I don't care anymore, but feel like I still need to do something about it. I have tried to call intervention, and have always tried to talk to her about it. Nothing works, and all she does is lie and deny. What should I do? It's been 10 years already. Please help..

Is it possible to develop multiple personalities if I keep this up? I'm a 19 year old female. I've been having identity crises since I can remember. My parents have always moved around a lot so I always found myself altering who I was to fit in with new kids every year or so. Around the age of 14 we finally settled down and I've been going through strange attitude changes. The common denominator is that I'm extremely selfish, only do what I want to do, manipulate people, use people, con people (specially men), and I find it extremely easy to lie and be charming. I have no remorse whatsoever and I really don't know what I'm capable of. I feel like I have no limits. I often take on personalities and complete ideals and opinions for my new personality. I think it's safe to say that I basically bullsh*t my way through life. I find myself thinking of ways to get what I want, and making complete plans. I pretend to be different people *around* different people. It's also a phase thing. For a couple of months I'll be one person and for another couple of months I'll be completely different. My parents have always said that I'd be a good lawyer because I do a good job at defending different ideals. I thought about it (as a career choice) and realized that might be part of this entire thing. If debates at school and college I used to always win. Even if the ideal is beyond me, if I could care less about it, I'd adopt it as my own and defend it all the way. And it would be believable. That's basically what I am on a day to day basis. I've always had a hard time understanding who I am because I seem to have two completely different people inside my head. A lady and a tramp. And I have even made lists, with points defining both within my character. It seems like the lady is just a facade, and I use it to get what I want. I look up to women who con people, who use their sexuality to get what they want and who have no limits. should I stay with this girl? I asked a question earlier but am still on the fence... I have been with this girl for 2 and a half years. I am living with her now but returning home for the summer. I am a pharmacy student and she was a gym teacher major, but decided it was to hard and now wants to get an associates in early childhood education. I have a job, but she couldn't find one and abandoned her search after the first semester because she said no one will hire her for 4 months... I pay for everything although the agreement before living with each other was she would pay half of food and internet/cable. Rent is still split in half. To get us through I even sold my snowmobile. Do I keep her father in her life? here's the situation: my daughter is 16 months old. Her father and I had been dating on and off, more on than off, since before I had her, for the last 4 years. I found out recently that he had MULTIPLE women, all the while sleeping with me still. One of which I broke up with him over already because of arguments that me and her had. He assured me that they were no more and we got back together. Come to find out he was living with her and NOT the friends he said he was. Also come to find out he has his other kids (3 other kids, 2 different women) over there as WELL as with 2 DIFFERENT girls he "dates". I NEVER got on his case about money because he's finishing school and doesn't have a full time job. He does side jobs with a friend from time to time however to "pay bills", come to find out he doesn't even PAY rent where he lives. My cell phone got cut off and he called my house phone, and that's when I found out that the phone he has is in one of the girls he "dates" names! Because I wasn't in NEED of the money I never asked. The ONLY thing I asked is that she get his time. So because of that, he never felt obligated to pay. After speaking to ALL of the women in a 2 day period, I found out that he didn't even claim her to ANY of them. Up until today when he came and left a note on my door to call him, he had made no effort to find out how she was, or if I needed any money (forgot to tell you - I got laid off 6 months ago and am collecting a measly $300 every 2 weeks from unemployment and had to move back to my mom's because I still haven't found a job and lost my place. My car note and insurance alone is $325). So now I'm struggling with this - do I let him be in her life right now? I don't trust him to take her - first of all because of all the different women he'd have her around, second of all because he got his driver's license revoked, and third of all because all he does is LIE. HELP, HELP, HELP!!! please...? So I really need all the help I can get...if you could please be thorough with the responses to this question; I would greatly appreciate it. So, hello my name is Olivia. I turned 18 years old on October 21st, 2008. Prior to this I'd like to thank you and apologize for how lengthy this may be or seem. It's just very important to me. I believe there's a point in every person's life where they have to accept responsibility for their own choices, decisions, and mistakes. Since I was about 13 until pretty recently I've gotten into a great deal of legal trouble as well as drug addictions; my first charges were domestic violence, then it escalated to credit card fraud, and most recently check fraud, forgery, grand theft, VOP and a few more that I cannot recall off-hand. The most recent charges I mentioned were last year, around Feb. 2008 before I turned 18 (10/21/08), and when I went to court I was "declared delinquent"; anyways I was sentenced/declared to do approximately 9 months in a Level 6 juvenile (DJJ) program in addition to about 2 months (unfortunately not "time served") in the juvenile detention center, as well as being ordered to pay back all my restitution (which is now approximately $8,000.00, b/c while I was in my program I earned about $700.00 that was put toward my debt). I had/have been to multiple other programs prior to my sentencing, but my most recent program is the only one that has helped me tremendously. I know it's hard to believe but I found a higher power and I am a changed person, I'm ready to start my life as a responsible adult. I'm ready for a new chance. SO on that note, while I was in my juvenile program I was offered a full two-year scholarship to a local community college in my area. However, due to the fact that the women didn't know of my situation aka debt yet; she regrettably revoked my scholarship upon the news of my restitution. So, when I graduated my program I was sure that I wasn't going to have money to go to college and now here I was just turned 18 in more debt then some 30 year olds are. My grandfather/guardian/protector has always been there for me no matter what the circumstances were. I am now living with him, and I am actively job searching but with the economy the way it is; it's damn near impossible to find a job. My grandfather at first refused to pay for my schooling, after a while he decided that he would instead pay for me to go to the local community college, and that he'd continue to pay for me to go to school as long as I maintained a 2.5 GPA and if he could claim me on his taxes (which is a pretty sweet deal). I was/am looking forward to becoming a nurse, and we have already begun to enter me into the college so that I can complete my prerequisites and after can apply for the nursing program. I already know how hard it will be to become a nurse being my background, but I will do whatever it takes and I will wait however long I have to until my record is cleared. The issue is that I came to my grandfather with another deal in replace of the previous one. My deal was that instead of him paying for me to go to college, he could use the same amount of money and pay off my restitution; I would still have maybe $1,000.00 left to pay, but I could probably save that up pretty easily once I find/get a job. And I could use the scholarship I was offered instead, that way I'm killing 2 birds with 1 stone. The women who offered the scholarship said that if I paid off my restitution the scholarship would be there waiting on me. So he said he'd defiantly think about it but there would be conditions, and he said he wanted me to think about it as well and report back to him then he would make the final decision upon my presentation. He wanted me to tell him: 1. How it would benefit me and most importantly how would it benefit him? 3. What could I do for him since he is loaning/paying off my debt? 4. Would I be giving him any payment or something in replace of him paying off the debt? 5. How/What could I do to prove to him that by him paying this off he's helping me not hindering me? 6. How/What could I do to show him that I'm serious about my schooling and about getting my life straight, so that he knows if he pays this off I won't just mess up again (being that if he paid it off I would no longer be on probation) 7. I used to have a very good work history, however in the last few years that has diminished....I left a long term job for another one that had a lot of promise but I turned out they were not looking to hire me for the long haul and I was dismissed the problem being i s that I burned my bridge at the previous employer...so, for the last few years its been musical jobs, just what ever pays the bills and the same ol same ol working through temp services at companies that have no intention of ever hiring anyone full time, seasonal jobs, short term jobs, etc etc now the question is if I were to "with hold information" and not list these multiple jobs and instead list myself as self employeed for the past few years would any would be employer even be able to find the the truth out? just from what i've heard and seen most places won't hire me all because of the past few years anyway

is parents' job is to just provide food and clothing? ok here's the situation. i am 15 yrs old, i have 11 years twin sibling, a 13 years old bro, and a 24 years old sis. my mom hardly ever cooks anymore. she thinks we are old enough to take care of ourselves. everyone has a chore in the house. but im the only one with the worst one. cleaning dishes. there's 7 people in our house. and most of them eat like pigs using multiple plates at a time. so it usually takes me at least 45 minutes up to 1 hr 30 min. and i hate to stand on my feet! everyone else has a chore that take like 5-10 minutes to do and most of them don't do so my parents make me do it!!! all my dad cares about is if we have money for food. we usually goes to a Supermarket everyday to buy our own lunch and dinner because like i said mom hardly ever cooks. and when she cooks she only cooks for my dad. it seems like the only person she cares about is dad. she does everything for him w/o complaining and he always disrespect her and she just laugh it off, but when she does one thing for her kids, she started yelling a Louis in malcolm in the middle. then when it comes to laundry she says she's not going to do our own laundry anymore(we don't have a washer/dryer, if we does i can do mine all by myself) sometimes me and my bro goes to the laundromat ourselves and sometimes we have to drag the laundry bags by ourselves all the way(which is like a 5 Minutes walk) and every1 always stares at us. my dad has a car, but he always complaining and yelling at us saying we are too lazy and stuff so most of the time when we want to go somewhere, if we have our own money, we take the bus if we don't, we walk no matter how long it is.(one day i had to walk for 1hr to go to the library). and get this we are not allowed to socialize with our friends at all; mostly because our house is a ghetto mess and we are too broke to fix it(well my dad is not but he doesn't care what his house looks like saying its a waste of money. everything he does for us is a waste of money. if he give us 20 bucks for lunch and sometimes dinner ($5 per person) he says he's just wasting his money. i really hate this life i wish it could be better. if i got sick and i told my mom she ignores me and acts like she doesn't hear me. but if my dad says he has an headache, she's the first to suggest various types of pills he can use to care them. and when i tries to tell her about this, she says i'm a spoiled brat(which is kind of stupid considering we are broke). then she says she's the boss of the house and i can't tell her what to do. it is very annoying. yesterday she started yelling at me because of something my sis did and i told her she shouldn't have done it but she thinks im trying to control every1. and also she is so sexist just like my dad and my sis. we wouldn't let my bros do anything just because they are guys. if i have a problem i cannot even goes to them and tell them about it because i do not trust them. there's no trusted adult in my life. it really sucks. now she and my older sis is threatening to beat the hell out of me. and i told them to. this is just a few of the things i can think of. there's so much more. i cried yesterday because my mom yells at me for no reason and we she told me to arrange the dishes, she was like "if u drop those plates on me, i'm going to hurt you back and i do not care about what happens" i was so mad that i said "why did u have 5 kids we you are not going to to take care of them?" she almost hit me then she called my dad and told him i called her a bad mother. then she told me that if i didn't like her then i should find a new mom since this is america. then she started talking about how i'm hanging out with bad friends(which is so not true because i don't associate myself with bad people). this is situation is so horrible that i even consider calling child services. but i do not know their number. they really need to learn how to take care of their kids. and here is what makes it even worse. there's this woman who has 2 children and she always brings them over to hang out at our house. u should see my parents drooling over this kids. they have never take care of us like that. EVER. they would do everything for this kids. if they ask them for something, they would do it gladly. and if it was us, they would start yelling at us. they always do this. they always treats their friend's children 1 million times better than they treat us. and they always help others but not us. is there anything i can do? do u think this situation is worth calling child services? i do not really have the guts to do this becuase i am scared of my da like hell. i'm even more scared of him than i am of God. please help. i am not a spoiled brat. you should really come over to my house and see what really goes on day to day. don't insult me if you do not know what my life is really like!! ok, i am asking people what i should do not asking for insults. and they are not normal families. they knows nothing about their kids, nothing!! and they do not care enough. like i said is hat they treat everyone better than us. they are always nice and helpful to other people; but when it comes with their own blood; for some reason they find it dificult to even talk to us about anything. and my old sis is still living with us becuase of a problem she has. which is going to take about 6 months to 1 years to resolve. i do my chores everyday and i always has to do everyone's else. i cannot trade chores becuase i tried to do that before and my parent would not allow it. so you should really think i need to suck it up for 3 more years? or do something about it?

Mortensen Center for Immigration Studies This Backgrounder examines illegal immigration-related document fraud and identity theft that is committed primarily for the purpose of employment. It debunks three common misconceptions: illegal aliens are “undocumented;” the transgressions committed by illegal aliens to obtain jobs are minor; and illegal-alien document fraud and identity theft are victimless crimes. It discusses how some community leaders rationalize these crimes, contributing to a deterioration of the respect for laws in our nation, and presents a variety of remedies, including more widespread electronic verification of work status (E-Verify and the Social Security Number Verification Service) and immigrant outreach programs to explain the ramifications and risks of document fraud and identity theft. The findings include: Illegal immigrants are not “undocumented.” They have fraudulent documents such as counterfeit Social Security cards, forged drivers licenses, fake “green cards,” and phony birth certificates. Experts suggest that approximately 75 percent of working-age illegal aliens use fraudulent Social Security cards to obtain employment. Most (98 percent) Social Security number (SSN) thieves use their own names with stolen numbers. The federal E-Verify program, now mandated in only 14 states, can detect this fraud. Universal, mandatory use of E-Verify would curb this and stop virtually 100 percent of child identity theft. Illegal immigration and high levels of identity theft go hand-in-hand. States with the most illegal immigration also have high levels of job-related identity theft. In Arizona, 33 percent or all identity theft is job-related (as opposed to identity theft motivated simply by profit). In Texas it is 27 percent; in New Mexico, 23 percent; in Colorado, 22 percent; California, 20 percent; and in Nevada, 16 percent. Eight of the 10 states with the highest percentage of illegal aliens in their total population are among the top 10 states in identity theft (Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, Nevada, New York, Georgia, and Colorado). Children are prime targets. In Arizona, it is estimated that over one million children are victims of identity theft. In Utah, 1,626 companies were found to be paying wages to the SSNs of children on public assistance under the age of 13. These individuals suffer very real and very serious consequences in their lives. Illegal aliens commit felonies in order to get jobs. Illegal aliens who use fraudulent documents, perjure themselves on I-9 forms, and commit identity theft in order to get jobs are committing serious offenses and are not “law abiding.” Illegally employed aliens send billions of dollars annually to their home countries, rather than spending it in the United States and helping stimulate the American economy. In October 2008 alone, $2.4 billion was transferred to Mexico. Tolerance of corruption erodes the rule of law. Corruption is a serious problem in most illegal aliens’ home countries. Allowing it to flourish here paves the way for additional criminal activity and increased corruption throughout society. Leaders support perpetrators and ignore victims. Political, civic, religious, business, education, and media leaders blame Americans for “forcing” illegal aliens to commit document fraud and identity theft. No similar concern is expressed for the American men, women, and children whose lives are destroyed in the process. The Social Security Administration and Internal Revenue Service facilitate illegal immigrant-driven identity theft. Both turn a blind eye to massive SSN fraud and take no action to stop it. The Social Security Administration assigns SSNs to new-born infants that are being used illegally. The IRS demands that victims pay taxes on wages earned by illegal aliens using their stolen SSNs, while taking no action to stop the identity theft. State and local governments need to adopt tougher laws to supplement federal efforts. The Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is targeting large document fraud rings and the most egregious employers, but their resources are limited and stretched across multiple priorities. Anyone have experience cloning a Windows 95 HDD using Ghost 2003? I need to clone a hard drive running Windows 95. This is a business computer and it has irreplacable software running on 95. I need more space so I tried using ghost to do the job. I have tried disk to disk copy and making a bootable cd to restore the image. Neither process works. The computer boots and gives error about no operating system. I have tested the drive in multiple computers and it is ok. The BIOS detects it no problem. I have lots of experience with ghost on 98/ME/2K/XP. Never seen this before. Any thoughts?

how to use vlookup for multiple lookup values? my problem is that vlookup does not get the results i want. I have a list of data for 2 months of vendors and what they owe in different categories (services, supplies, etc). i then have a identification number and a job number for every vendor. I want to use vlook up to sum how much each vendor owes my company for the two months. I do not want to merge the files together. I tried using vlookup with just the id number, but it does not give me the data i want since the vendor number is the same for alot of jobs and vice versa. I was wondering if there is a way to use both the vendor number and the job number as the lookup value. I do not want to use the conecate function cause it will not give me the second occurence of the value (i keep getting the first occurence and not having the rest of the occruences in the vlookup) the sumif function would take too long to do and i need to create a report that uses outstanding vendors in april and find their balances in may also there are several ones with both the same vendor id and job id

The Best windshield cleaner? I've had problems with a streaky/hazy windshield that I attributed to bad wipers, until I took someone's advice and tried rubbing alcohol to remove Rainx/wax/road tar/miscellaneous greasy gunk. Now I've noticed that the windshield is less streaky and hazy, and the wipers seem to wipe the surface streak-free on the first pass. The problem is that it's not completely clean. And I don't want to spend my time and effort using multiple applications of rubbing alcohol when there might be a better solution. So, what else could I use that does a better job? Please don't say Bonami, it's not made to clean glass and actually scratches it.

What brand of paint should I use to paint the interior of my house? Behr Premium or Ben Moore.? I want to paint with an eggshell finish and cover a Med. Brown color with a light cream color. I am planning on first using Kilz tinted to a close color to help cover the brown.
